🇳🇿 Milford Sound, Nova Zelândia
Sempre tive essa mania de gostar de lugares caóticos e remotos, onde a natureza demonstra sua força e a civilização retribui com admiração e respeito. Que lugar incrível!
Found some unexpected petrified wood while looking for more of the whale skeleton 😁 I haven't found wood before at Motunua. It looks different from the petrified wood I find in the Ashley river further south.

Zoom in on this picture to see how the mirage makes the road appear as if it’s going straight into this glacial lake 😍

Stunning shot by @ryanresatka
Been a while since I’ve done a selfaaaaaaaaaay so I chose this one because I look like a relative of Jessica Biel mixed with a horse 😂 Yeah baby!!! Just a reminder to do you! I think my favourite phrase to live by is “you do you”. Stuff what anyone else thinks, caring gives them power. What difference do the thoughts of strangers make to your life!? None sister. Pretend they aren’t there. Just focus on your own happiness and celebrate the people love you with all your quirks 💕💕

H O R M E S I S • Enjoying nature’s ice bath at the foot of a snowy mountain in New Zealand. You probably already know that part of my morning routine is an ocean swim. I literally swim every morning of the year. Those cold winter mornings when everyone is layering up and sitting in front of the heater, I’m out in the cold ocean getting my daily dose of hormesis i.e a low-dose stressor that elicits positive physiological adaptations. Like exercise, cold water immersion (aka cryotherapy) is a hormetic stressor. All the years of winter swimming has conditioned me for this moment. Cold water tolerance is like a muscle. You need to put in the reps. You need to flex it for it to get stronger. If you can tolerate the self-inflicted mental and physical pain of a cold swim first thing in the morning, you can tolerate anything that life throws at you for the rest of the day. Win the morning. Win the day. 🏔☃️ #hormesis#wimhof

Tomorrow is not just one more day. Tomorrow is, in fact, a magnificent gift. A blessing to cherish. An invitation to grow, to be kind to others, and to discover the world’s infinite beauty. ✨
From today, I’ll be sharing some personal favourites from 2019. It’s been a big year of photography for me, with an overhaul of my portfolio and thousands of hours spent in the field, particularly in Fiordland where I live and the one place on earth I am most passionate about. I captured this one (Kingdom Come) back in January, after some exploring one afternoon. After some scouting, creek crossing and eventually coming across this tree, I captured this frame and called it a day. The whole shoot lasted 5 minutes. Wish they all went that smoothly.
