I found this cute little fireplace at the Lindis Pass Historic Hotel Campsite during my van trip around NZ. It's such a gorgeous little site to stop by on your trip to or from Queenstown! The best part is it's free and you can camp pretty close to the old hotel! All the information you need about this campsite is on the handy app campermate. (Such a neat app! It even tells you where fresh drinking water is and toilets). Pretty groovy!

This image was shot a couple of summers ago on Christmas Day & was the result of a 4:30am hike around the rocks. At the time I’d just got hold of a 10 stop ND filter and was all amped to try it out in blazing sunlight. It’s been nice to re visit that shoot a couple of years later and apply a different grade to the way the image looks. I try to be mindful of working out a personal style, but if I’m honest it’s a temperamental game - as much a reflection of the mood I’m in as some grand aesthetic sensibility. The filter had an aggressive blue cast to it which I’ve done my best to ease towards a warmer summery look this time around. Can’t wait for this rain to clear and for summer to arrive again at full hiss ⚡️ #photopills

Happy Tuesday everyone! Had the busiest weekend and have finally managed to catch up! Over the weekend I shot my first wedding. Something I never thought I'd ever do. I learnt so many things, big and small. So my biggest takeaway and life advice is to step out of your comfort zone, if you never try you never know - take those opportunities under your nose whatever they may be 💫

A sunny afternoon in the Hooker Valley. I hadn't seen this place before and I certainly hadn't seen anything like it. I think this was the moment that got me hooked on these views and these mountains. How insignificant we really are to these giants.
