Brrr... the words freezing as they came out of our mouth; layering beyond what I always dreamt of; the frosty winds making you take shelter on the pretext of having more coffee; the scrunch of fresh snow as we took cautious walks hand in hand; our room with this incredible view of the Niagara Falls at @towerhotelfallsview; the taste of a falling snowflake. ❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️
We’ve returned with many amazing Canadian winter memories from Nov-Dec. Of course Yash, being Yash can’t stop bragging. He’s made a mission out of not letting anyone complain about cold in India anymore. His argument: “We’ve been out in -7 (feels like -14 degree Celsius) so puh-leez don’t tell me it’s cold there.” 🙄🙄 Quite frankly, now that we are back in the tropics, it’s almost hard to imagine that such chilling cold exists. Like, how could we while we are buying more printed linen shirts and sipping ice teas. Only these pretty pictures of sweet Niagara Falls from every angle to look at... Does it happen with you that once you’re out of a place / situation, it doesn’t seem that bad / problematic anymore?
Patiently waiting for the snow to return ❄️ I never thought I would say that, but it’s about time I have a proper “Canadian winter” feed 😂 Where I live, there’s been a lot of slush, rain, and ice recently. A blanket of fresh snow would be a blessing at this point~
