A little bit of everything on my plate today. Garlic mushrooms, olive oil fried eggs, halloumi, homemade Labneh with Za'tar and Israeli salad. Because I have been missing the food in Tel Aviv so much since I got back. And how could I not? Fresh vegetables, bold flavours, earthy spices and so very vibrant.

@bibbleandsip’s matcha cream puff was heavenly 😇. the crunchy craquelin, flaky choux pastry, and creamy filling created a delicious dessert. but pls don’t get me started on how long it took me to get this pastry bc #saltyaf .

Have you ever had a Sabich?
This classic Tel Aviv snack food, has won my heart. Filled with moist slices of fried eggplant, hard-boiled egg, a generous layer of creamy hummus, crunchy Israeli pickles, Israeli salad, and drizzled with tahini sauce and amba, a pickled-mango sauce, it's all you could want in any sandwich and more 🙌🏽
We had one of the best ones during our visit at @lehamimbakery a.k.a the bakery of my dreams, where @rinattzadok showed us how to make them and soon they will be on the blog 🤗 @vibeisrael

Madeleines have a very special place in my heart. When I was attending Le Cordon Bleu for pastry, our teacher would often bake us a batch after our 7 hour class, and it was the perfect ending to our day.
So when I got the Downton Abbey Cookbook, this month's pick for the @chaptersindigo Cookbook Club, I couldn't resist making this recipe. Hints of vanilla bean and a perfectly delicate crumb make these Madeleines a recipe to make over and over again, especially now that the weather calls for baking.
