✨PART TWO✨ Number two on my Top 5 things to do in NYC guide is a 2in1 kinda thing. The Rockefeller Tour followed by the Top Of The Rock experience (both available on the New York pass). Now when we went we did these two activities separately. We visited the Top Of The Rock as planned, then a few days later we spontaneously decided to do the Rockefeller Tour which was such a pleasant surprise and something I am so pleased we decided to do. The reason why I’d say to combine these two together is because when we did the tour of the Rockefeller, once it had finished everyone else headed on up to the Top Of The Rock, which sounded like the perfect way to round up the Rockefeller experience. So next time, I’d do the Rockefeller Tour followed directly with a visit to the Top Of The Rock for all the Rockefeller vibes. ✨
As I said, the Rockefeller Tour was a pleasant surprise considering it was something we hadn’t planned to do, I’m really happy we decided to in the end. It was so interesting and fun as it’s a mainly outside tour, so you’re walking round the streets of NYC getting lots of fun info and spotting things you may not have noticed before had you not have done the tour... The Top Of The Rock is a super cool experience which we did at night time, which I think is especially cool as we got to see the buildings of NYC all lit up- including the Empire State Building. I definitely think Top Of The Rock has the perfect atmosphere for an evening / night time visit (though don’t go too late as it closed at midnight when we visited, and I think it’s roughly the same opening times all throughout the year- basically, just check the opening times before you go). Though I’ve yet to see views from the Top Of The Rock during the day (which I shall experience someday), I definitely think visiting when it was dark was the right decision ✨ Seeing the Empire State lit up is just PERFECT! ✨✨✨ ✨Part three coming soon✨
Be forewarned 🎃🎃🎃🎃!!!
If our terrifying tradition hold true, on Halloween, tens of jack-o’-lanterns beautifully carved will mysteriously appear in the Square thanks to the help of D’Agostino. Bring your creation. We will be there with candles to light them up!
Stop by on 10/24 beginning at 10am to choose your pumpkin (one per family/while supply lasts.) Those brave souls that tempt fortune and venture onto the haunted grounds of the Square on October 31 from 6 to 8 pm will receive a treat—courtesy of Li-Lac Chocolates!
There will also be delectable doughnuts courtesy of Krispy Kreme of Scranton, PA!
