When I moved to the other side of the world I promised myself that from now on I would go out of my comfort zone , fight all the fears I build up over the years and transform them into experiences of excitement.
So Seven years ago I jumped out of a plane, in an attempt to fight my fear of heights. And let me tell you it did not work at all. But after screaming at them to turn the plane around, to give me my fucking money back and crying like a baby for the first few seconds that fear shifted into something I can’t put into words.
In those few minutes it felt like time stopped and I got an ultimate feeling of freedom and ease. I couldn’t stop smiling and laughing the entire time.
You may not conquer your fear on the first try but over time you gonna build strength.
Try to imagine a world where you are not hold back by your fears.
Who would you be without your fears? What would your life look like?
You might be surprised what you find on the other side.
Next time you feel nervous, anxious or afraid, try to change your mindset. Instead of letting your fear get the best of you see it as an opportunity for self discovery and growth.
We will never know what we are capable of if we don’t take a leap of faith. I for once can’t wait to find out. And yes it is frightening but that’s the beauty of it isn’t it ?✨💪🏼 #newzealand#nz#straynz#discovernz#nzmustdo#purenz#bestnewzealand#roadtripnz#explorenz#northisland#taupo#skydive#skydivetaupo#travel#travelgram#gopro#fightyourfears#motivation#dream
Sometimes, you need to struggle and to overcome so you reach the ending of your journey, the ending line. Sometimes it means to struggle some outer force like nature but most of the the time you basically need to overcome your inner nature, yourself, and to expand your limits. That how I felt from time to time in New Zealand.
The picture showing a friend that I have made in the Kepler track struggle with a hard pain in his muscles as a result of walking 20Km with 20Kg on his back.
If you would like to experience fine dining in a gorgeous outdoor setting, you must visit Amisfield Winery & Bistro. We came to Queenstown to celebrate my birthday (early) and Sam chose this gem of a place for my "birthday lunch". We went with their signature Trust the Chef 5-course degustation menu and it did not disappoint. All we can say is "Wow!". Amazing presentation, amazing food. We were also lucky enough to enjoy a stunner of a day, which made the experience all the more delightful 🤗 #amisfield#amisfieldwinery#queenstown#trustthechef#birthdaylunch#travelwithkids#familyholiday#nz#nzmustdo
These limestone rock formations were on our drive to Christchurch. Recommended by our guide when we went on our heli-hike. There was not really a track, so we just climbed and walked around the limestone rocks making our own track!
And we ended up struggling coming back down because of all the snow and ice on the mountain😅
Taken from the Ovation of the Seas deck when (finally!) there was cloud during the day. Love the layers in the shot from the mountains and the sky and suited a black and white edit.
I think that the peak in the background is Mount Solitary and still snow covered in peak summer. It is around 1500m (5000') high
A "sound" is a large sea or ocean inlet, deeper than a bight and wider than a fjord.
