Day 6 Okinawa. Our last proper day here :*( Went to Ichiran to queue for their wonderful ramen. Witnessed a miracle when there was no queue. At all. Fumbled around at the self order machine and finally got our tickets. Got ushered to our booths. The booth window opened. A hand poked at a paper on the table. A disembodied voice proclaimed "TICK HERE TICK HERE" and then the booth window closed. Customized our ramen and submitted the paper. Food arrived in short order. It was rich, flavourful, delicious. What more can I say. Lyn's ramen disappeared when I was still swirling my seaweed in the soup. Got worried she would eat the bowl as well, but she said was full. Left happy.
Went to nearby McDonald's to feed baby her porridge. Halfway through baby surrendered and folded up like kaya toast. Put baby to have a lie-down in the stroller. Baby revived after a while.
Drove to Nishimatsuya and looked at their huge supermarket of baby stuff. Wished that we had such stores in sg. Went back to hotel to have a conbini dinner cos we were tired of walking about. Packed our luggage. Had 20kg and 2 bags more than when we arrived 5 days ago.
Lyn commented that their housing blocks look like HDB. The end. #okinawa#baby#holiday#ichiran#nishimatsuya#conbini
