If you are your own worst critic then you should read this. And maybe you should understand that we are all right there with you. I just joined a Business Breakthrough course with @robdialjr. One of the things we have been learning is how to ask ourselves the right questions. I spent two hours today just talking to two of my favorite clients about how to live their best lives right now especially with these massive effects of Covid-19 shaking every part of our society. Much of what we talked about was reflecting on current struggles and being able to see them in a more positive light. They felt a lot more motivated to take on the coming weeks and I am excited to be alongside them in the journey. ——
Here are some tips: 🔷 Grab a journal and have a conversation with yourself 🔹 if you are not feeling like you are doing enough right now, then ask yourself why do you feel that way. Then ask who told you that you are not doing enough. Then you can ask how would things shift if you were happy with what you are doing right now. What do you need to do in order to feel like you are accomplishing more?
🔷 Ask questions, but make sure they lead to more powerful and empowering thoughts 🔹instead of asking a question like “why can’t you just do more?” Ask “how can you get more done?” Or “what do you need to do in order to make more time for the work that you want to do?” 🔷 Be kind to yourself, but be aware of what you really need in that moment 🔹in a time where so much is up in the air and you are getting pulled in so many directions we need to figure out what we truly need. So what is it that you need? How can you bring that into your life? Why do you need to do it? How can that affect everyone else around you? 📸 @felixjr1

How y’all doing? I just opened a bottle of pinot, so the rest of my day will start to get better.
I am drinking Marimar Esrare Mas Cavalls Pinot Noir 2016 from the Sonoma Coast, this appellation makes one of my favorite pinots in the west coast, the cool breezes and drifting fog from the pacific ocean really make it an ideal site for Pinot Noir.
Tasting note 🍇
Elegant nose, with classic varietal aromas of wild cherry, clove and sandalwood plus the characteristic note of forest floor from this special vineyard. The tannins are supple and graceful, and the palate is round, complex and fleshy. .
This process was definitely not conventional... thank goodness for technology. It’s been exhausting keeping up with the news and trying to do the right thing. My client still needed a home. After much back and forth and no open houses or traditional showings, this marvelous bright home with beautifully vaulted high ceilings is going to belong to someone very deserving very soon. Even as this coronavirus situation continued to develop and we decided to pause our search, my client could not stop thinking about this special house. Here’s a sneak peak.
Thanks to everyone continuing to work so hard virtually or on the front lines or at the grocery stores during this world crisis. It’s continuing to keep this world spinning as much as possible within the limitations of these unprecedented times. Thanks to the Bay Area for also choosing to stay home and/or following the CDC guidelines to flatten the curve. Hoping to see a light at the end of the tunnel soon. I’m sure we’ll never take for granted a “normal” day leaving the house and going about our usual business after this. Now, can you see yourself quarantined here...? #firsttimehomeowner#westoakland

As our lives, our businesses, and the world we live in change day by day, we’re all left wondering how long this will last. 🤷♀️How long will we feel the effects of the coronavirus? ⁉️How deep ⬇️will the impact go? The human toll may forever change families, but the economic impact will rebound with a cycle of downturn followed by economic expansion like we’ve seen play out in the U.S. economy many times over.
⬅️⬅️Here’s a look at what leading experts and current research indicate about the economic impact we’ll likely see as a result of the coronavirus. It starts with a forecast of U.S. Gross Domestic Product (GDP).
🔊According to Investopedia:
“Gross Domestic Product (GDP) is the total monetary or market value of all the finished goods and services produced within a country’s borders in a specific time period. As a broad measure of overall domestic production, it functions as a comprehensive scorecard of the country’s economic health.”
When 👀👀at GDP (the measure of our country’s economic health), a survey of three leading financial institutions ⬅️⬅️shows a projected sharp decline followed by a steep rebound in the second half of this year.
From expert financial institutions to business leaders across the country, we can clearly see that the anticipation of a quick return to normal once the current crisis subsides is not too far away. In essence, this won’t last forever, and we will get back to growth-mode. We’ve got this.💪🏼💪🏼

B12 Love feels it is important that the general population consider the following:
1. Think about every time you leave your home and decide if it’s essential. Consider grouping your essential errands together, and do most of them in the morning to avoid crowds.
2. If you are sick or caring for someone who is sick, we encourage you to wear a mask or some type of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Refer to the CDC for more tips on how to protect yourself. We are, however, encouraging all clients visiting our lounges to wear a mask and gloves in an abundance of caution.
3. Please continue to wash your hands regularly. Hand sanitizer works too, but it doesn’t beat washing your hands with soap and warm water.
4. When returning home from running an errand or work, remove clothes and shoes before entering back into your home and directly wash them, as well as yourself with a hot shower.
5. You can do a nasal steam using things you already have in the kitchen like citrus, onion or rosemary.
6. Practice patience and show kindness and empathy. If there is a line at the grocery store or you see an essential service provider traveling to work, thank them for the services they are providing. In this time of crisis, we are all dealing with things differently and could all use a little more patience, support and kindness.
Honey Walnut Prawns ($12.95), Oyster and Roast Pork in Clay Pot ($12.95), Clams in Black Bean Sauce ($12.95), BBQ Pork Fried Rice ($9, free with orders over $30). Craving restaurant Chinese food and we’ve had moderate success with Emmy’s before so we decided to order from here again. The honey walnut shrimp was a winner. So good with rice! The clams and the oyster clay pot were average. The fried rice was so so as well and I have to remove the pork since it was dry. No wonder it was free. Definitely will order the shrimp again and probably pick some other dishes next time. Thanks #ubereats !
