Aspen loves sharing things with me, even things I give her. I give her half of my sandwich, she wants to share it with me. I give her a dollar, she wants to give me fifty cents. I take her to the beach, she wants to share stones with me. Come to think of it, I guess I’ve given this girl life - and if she wants to share some of it with me, I’d say that’s a deal of a lifetime.

Thanks to @natureprofessor for the Crater Lake NP adventure. ・・・
We all connect to different things. What’s your favorite nature scenes? I LOVE snowy moments like this where snow is coming down and it creates a whole new world, revealing how quickly nature can change things. ❄️ ⛄️ .
ALL HAIL MFC! ❄️ Back to back games this weekend, injured players, crazy Oregon weather BUT these boys played their hearts out! Proud of the season we’ve had so far and looking forward to our last 2 weeks. Successful weekend, but the grind doesn’t stop ⚽️💪🏽

Wake up: 2:30am
Earlier sunrises make longer days and bring warmer weather, sometimes.
Mr. McMorlan is awesome to adventure with me and my photography visions.
I’ve wanted to capture a sunrise coming over the mighty Colombia River for awhile.
I have posted two photos. One minute before and one minute after. The sun was a big ball of orange. It was extremely cool and the picture doesn’t do it justice.
How, it was cold!!! How cold? My hands stopped working.
I’ve encountered fingers not working before but this was a first for the whole hand to stop.
I had to change settings on my camera and couldn’t turn or slide knobs. I tried using the palm of my hand without much success.
I walked around afterward, to take more photos, and had to stop and find shelter from the cold 🥶 wind.
On this day, while others are eating bonbons, accepting bouquets of balloons and roses, and maybe even a strange teddy bear 🧸, we are celebrating the •161st• birthday of our beautiful state! Simultaneously we are celebrating the 5th anniversary of our move to Oregon.
Despite this January being the wettest in some 14 years, we are more in love than ever.
Oregon, we adore you 🥰
In fifth grade’s English class, we each had to pick a State and do a report on it. I randomly picked Oregon and I fell in love with its mountains and woods. ⠀
I finally got to see it in person last week with @storyryter and wow. What a place. Pictures don’t do justice to how beautiful it is, and staying in Portland for the majority of the time we got to experience all of nature, city life, delicious food and coffee, all at once.⠀
And no, I’m not moving there. Very grateful to have visited, but also grateful to call Tampa home 💛
