On Friday we were blessed with summer-like sunshine & I had the BEST time capturing this sweet love story that started in high school marching band (check out our epic band pics 🤟🏼👉🏼). Davis & Maddie are the coolest people, inside & out. I am so stoked to share more from this beautiful afternoon & I love how they made it “so them” by bringing their instruments & the coolest lightsabers. 💍 I have “editing” written in large bold letters on my to-do list this week so I’m hoping to share more of what we’ve been up to annnnnnnnd get some galleries delivered. Woot woot. 🙌🏼😏 Till then, here’s adorable engagement session magic for ya. 😘♥️
This weekend was non stop for me! I think the warm weather all week had me in a de-clutter-throw-away-ALL type of vibe and it left me with two full days of re evaluating my life and new furniture 😂🤷🏽♀️ brings a whole new meaning to “out with the old, in with the new” when you realize you’ve taken 8 trips from the car carrying in bags filled with bought-on-a-whim decor + every kind of chocolate covered berry you can think of. Maybe I shop while I’m hungry on purpose, now my cabinets are filled with all kinds of goodies 🤫

Well, hello! I guess it’s time to officially introduce myself. I’ve been procrastinating as I never know what to write in these informal About Me posts. Considering I’ve just rebranded from a 12 year family and portrait business and gone out on a total limb to open a new business and exclusively shoot elopements, I figure it’s pretty important to exercise my transparency! My fascination with authentic, gooey, couple love finally took over and I’ve hung up my family and portrait photography hat to follow my heart. My family and I are uprooting from my native state of Arizona to make the Inland Northwest our new forever home in Spokane, Washington. C’mon June, get here already! *
So....here goes! •I’m in love with my creator and my amazing husband, and kiddos❤️
• I’m passionate about living a clean and healthy lifestyle. Yoga, camping, and adventuring make me happy
• I love art, culture and eccentricity • I’m also a cosmetologist by trade • I owned a Zumba/salon/photography studio for 4yrs closing shop to go on permanent maternity leave with my youngest
• I adore tattoos and good food 🤤
Drop a line to say hello back, I always love making new friends💫 *

Details are small, but they’re crucial pieces of your wedding day. Photographing details is pretty much the highlight of my day. They’re admired by many, will likely become a wallpaper, and they bring together some of the most beautiful little parts of your special day. Wouldn’t you just love your details to be styled like this? @whitepicketfenceco is so talented! 2020 brides, check her out!!
We spent the last couple of days in Mammoth with our east coast friends shredding at Mammoth Mountain, drinking beer and catching up on life. Living on the road limits us from seeing our close friends, but when we can all meet up somewhere amazing like Mammoth, it’s not so bad.
Grateful for the time spent with Ben, Audrey, Bella and Ethan this week! 🏔🏂
Next stop: Moab 🏜
Wake up: 2:30am
Earlier sunrises make longer days and bring warmer weather, sometimes.
Mr. McMorlan is awesome to adventure with me and my photography visions.
I’ve wanted to capture a sunrise coming over the mighty Colombia River for awhile.
I have posted two photos. One minute before and one minute after. The sun was a big ball of orange. It was extremely cool and the picture doesn’t do it justice.
How, it was cold!!! How cold? My hands stopped working.
I’ve encountered fingers not working before but this was a first for the whole hand to stop.
I had to change settings on my camera and couldn’t turn or slide knobs. I tried using the palm of my hand without much success.
I walked around afterward, to take more photos, and had to stop and find shelter from the cold 🥶 wind.
Change is tough. It’s the most uncomfortable thing in the world. But it’s the only way we grow. 2020 has already proved to be an immense year of change for me and while I feel that it’s all good change, it’s still challenging. I still question myself on a daily basis (actually an hourly basis but it’s chill) and I still get scared of what the future holds. But what’s the point if you’re not stepping out of your comfort zone? What’s the fun in life if you aren’t challenging yourself or learning and growing? So if you’re going through a season of change right now, and it’s scary or uncertain, just know you aren’t alone. And know that the universe has your back.
Park City will always hold a special spot in my heart. Tye took me there on a surprise trip a couple years back. Literally had me thinking we were going to a completely different state and then we ended up in Park City for the Sundance Film Festival, and better yet, a huge group of our friends were there as well. We skied a perfect blue bird day and enjoyed booshie weekend pretending we belonged in the film making crowd. It was spontaneous and such a unique adventure. Then this year, I got to return and photograph this gorgeous couple.✨Park City, man...
