A little deviation from the beautiful outdoors to land you smack into my living room. We joke that it’s more of a glorified hallway but it is cozy and filled with books and kids. Probably my two favorite things on earth. (And no, we do not dress in boutique outfits and dance in the light every day. Mostly it’s undies and maybe a t-shirt😂). Out hiking and making new photography friends this past week... exploring this place we call home with likeminded people is the best! Anyone have a favorite hike here on the coast they would recommend?? I’ve got a week off of work coming up for a staycation where I get to just explore!
I thought I’d tell you a little bit about my boyfriend and I! He is amazing!💕 I have never met someone more caring, reassuring and just overall so much fun to spend time with! I can never stop smiling when I’m with him!! I had the best time in Hawaii with his family and the one I love and we were even able to get some pics done of us! Picture cred from @tyler_rabe and edit by me!
I’m ready for a beach shoot with a couple, so if you and your loved one is down to get a little sandy and wet, message me and we’ll set something up!🤗🌊
Sometimes I get to photograph my friends and it makes me so happy .. especially when they’re as beautiful inside as they are out ❤️

It’s officially our 2 year anniversary of moving our home-base to Oregon. We miss our friends and family in Asheville, NC but are so happy with our decision to call Oregon our home. You’d be hard pressed to find a state that has as much natural diversity as we do here, between mountains and volcanic geology, rainforests and Redwoods, deserts, caves, valley’s and vineyards, and the coast with the most!
To celebrate, here are a few favorite spots we’ve explored in Oregon!

A new friend and very talented photographer I met exploring Central Oregon recommended this amazing place looking at Three Fingered Jack from across a beautiful meadow.
I want to thank @victoriacarlsonphoto for an awesome recommendation and I can't wait to show some of the night shots I got a few hours later :)
Also, you should check out her gallery, especially if you need a wedding or engagement photographer. I'm not just saying this because she was cool, shes legitimately the best in Bend.

Here I look 6 foot but don’t let the lens fool you I’m 5’1 and shrinking.
Here is the trick: Wide angle lenes 📸
Wide angle lenses are typically used for landscapes and scenery but if used in fashion photography it can enhance the models height when using low angles.
For example: My husband in this photo is standing no more than a foot in front of me, squatting with the camera at a small tilt creating the illusion that I’m tall 😲
For those of you curious swipe 👉🏼 to see me in real time taking this photo. (*I added red flowers using photoshop)
Gear used: Canon 77D + Canon efs 10-22mm

You know what I always wondered…
What everyone does with their “Hot Girl Summer” outfits?
Do you let them hang in the closet all fall + winter season?
Do you store them away?
Or do you sale them?

I came across this one in the archives, shot in autumn of 2017. This was the very last time I photographed a waterfall. Many years ago, I was all about the waterfalls. And then I wasn’t. I don’t know, maybe it’s the oversaturation and popularization of waterfalls nowadays, maybe I have just seen too many or maybe it’s just that they feel so limiting to me photographically. Whatever the reason, I couldn’t be happier with the photographic path I am now on.
Im not a gypsy but I am bazar.🌞
