A massive #sourdough#loaf this morning. Got my hands on heritage wheat and premium baker’s #organic#flour from @wholegrain_milling . I am in awe from the nutty aroma of this loaf. I just pulled it out from the oven. When I mixed the 500 gr of flour I added 350gr of water! But the flour was so thirsty I had to add extra 100 gr of water🧐🤓 I had no time yesterday to take the proper care of the dough: two kids had two swimming lessons and weather asked for more swimming afterwards🤣🤭 So, the dough was neglected on the counter. Nevertheless, I shaped it twice and we left it in the fridge for 20 hours. I can’t wait to slice it and taste this beauty. #artisan#homemaker#bread#brisbane

We are getting our hands on our first season’s stone fruit from our awesome grower Peter!
Grown on his small certified-organic farm in Bauple, Peter prides himself on growing only the most delicious varieties of fruits in his orchid. His peaches and their small pointy bottoms (like all good peaches should have!) don’t always pack and travel well so few farmers will grow them. But they are the tastiest!

When we lived in the previous house and only had wood heat, a friend gave us a half-pallet of wood pellets and we modified our stove to burn them. We had 8 bags left when we moved here, and I made sure to take them even though this house uses natural gas heat. Why? Because it's sitting on an acre of saline sand.
As long as the pellets are 100% wood with no accelerants, it can be added to compost or soil as organic material. I sprinkled them on the soil, sprinkled on a little horse manure, raked it in, then watered to fluff up the pellets. Raked again then sowed crimson clover as a fall cover crop.
The clover is now sprouting
The cover crop does several things:
1. It's a single-season legume to fortify the soil for next year, fixing nitrogen and adding more organic matter in the form of its roots.
2. It anchors the manure and wood down for when the winds kick up, so I don't lose those benefits.
3. It gives the microbes a head start for next year, when I decide what to plant there. (Hint: it won't be a lawn.)
4. It allows a heavy layer of puncturevine seed to sprout, so I can find and destroy them before they can produce more seed. There is SO much puncturevine on this property that we can't walk around the house barefoot unless we sweep the floor immediately beforehand.

I went for an interview today to work in the bakery section of a grocery store... I’m hoping all went well and I get the job🤞🏻 When I got back home, I did 20 mins worth of booty exercises and ended it with a 15 min yoga flow🧘🏼♀️ As my post workout lunch I had this protein green ginger smoothie bowl which is sooo delicious🤤 I topped it off with puffed rice, passion fruit and hemp seeds😋
1 frozen banana🍌, a thumb size amount of fresh ginger, a huge handful of leafy greens🥬(I used baby spinach), 1 1/2 cups of frozen mango🥭, 1 tbsp of vanilla protein powder, 1/2 tsp of maca powder, a splash of unsweetened plant milk(I used almond), 2 tsp of hemp seeds & 1/2 tsp of chia seeds. I have no more chia seeds left and I’m very upset about it to be honest😂😩 Whip it all up a food processor & you’ve got yourself a banging smoothie bowl😎

Came to Red Lobster for the first time with a friend. We tried our dishes with seafood. All high-quality and handmade food. The rainbow trout was caught recently. Feels wild eating a newly caught fish. Biscuit is handmade with natural ingredients. Taste smooth and delicious. Could eat this all day. Lobster and shrimps were freshly caught. Import from Maine. Taste like living in the ocean. With fresh and cool water cover all around us. Salmon was great. Their food are wild-caught and farm-raised. The Heineken beer is nonalcoholic, made with natural ingredients. Taste like sparkling water. We enjoy having our meal here with all high-quality and handmade food. This is the place where Nicki Minaj worked. Also, the place where Jimmy Fallon did his “Tonight’s Show” with Nicki Minaj.

BAKED COOKIE BALLS. These are the hybrid between a chewy chocolate chip cookie and a cake ball....with a little surprise in each bite😏 #glutenfree and #vegan // If you don't have any plans this weekend, then you should most definitely hit the save button on this and make these your plans 😉
Here's what you'll need-
•1 + 1/2 cups of @bobsredmill#glutenfree flour
•1/2 cup almond butter (I used homemade)
•3 Tbsp agave
•1/3 c pumpkin puree
•pinch of sea salt
•1/4 tsp baking soda
•2 Tbsp coconut oil
•1/4 cup of @enjoylifefoods chocolate chips
• @nutsolaofficial almond and cocoa mix
preheat oven to 325, in a large mixing bowl, add all ingredients except for chocolate chips and mix until well combined. (mixture will be relatively tough) Once combined, add in chocolate chips and mix once more. Next, with a cookie scooper, scoop desired amount and make into a flat ball. Fill with @nutsolaofficial mixture and form into a ball. Place on cookie sheet. Repeat until mixture is gone. Bake in the oven for 10-12 minutes or until balls are firm but not hard.

⏰ If you want to speed up the ripening process, place in a brown paper bag. If you want to slow it down then place in the refrigerator. The peel will turn brown but the inner flesh will be just fine.

It’s that time of the semester where I really just want to be on a one way flight to Europe... Christmas markets, genuine snow and some good old fashioned European splendour... sounds better than the assignments and exams... but my next European adventure will be here soon enough so I’m just going to have to keep the wanderlust at bay!
