Organizing & purging. .
It's a great feeling, isn't it...like a weight has been lifted. I love my supplies, and have been hoarding them...but I want a cleaner desk space so here I am.
I've just started...sitting on the floor while Darren brings me the stand up bins...I've gone through 7 so far and have them reduced to 2 bins. .
I'll order more bins...it keeps my paper dust free and protected...coordinating stickers are in here, too...I feel so much happier!
I'm also getting inspired and THAT is the best!
Stay tuned for the final reveal of my shelves!
You know how much we love drawer inserts - they are just perfect 👌🏻 for any drawer!
In the case of inserts, it’s not always a one-size-fits-all solution.
Our method for organizing drawers:
☝🏼FIRST sort through your items, throw away what no longer suits you, and survey what you have left. ✌🏼THEN measure your drawer space and the various items to determine how many inserts you need + what sizes.
Planning in advance allows you to achieve that perfect Tetris drawer! 😊 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
How many times have you gone into your bathroom to brush your teeth and wish you had more time? More time to brush your hair, wash your face, even put on mascara. More time to feel like yourself. When my bathroom is disorganized, it's sets the tone for my entire day. I don't want to untangle the cords below, fish out my dry shampoo, dig for tweezers. Organizing your bathroom, is the key to getting off on the right foot. When you can find things in your bathroom, you can use them, pamper yourself with them, feel good about yourself. #declutter#organizing#organized#organizer#simplify#bathroomorganization

Labels, labels, labels - and more labels 🏷 Whether it’s for gift wrapping or organizing around the house, I always have this drawer in my office stocked with my go-to labels. I linked a few of these (plus the bamboo drawer dividers and an adhesive to keep them from sliding around!) under the “shop” my recent posts tab in the link in bio. Happy Friday! ✨ http://liketk.it/2Jwvr @liketoknow.it#liketkit#ltkhome#organization#homeoffice

This right here is the epitome of #momlife . Pumping, scheduling my week, and trying to read a book all at the same time. Needless to say there is a lot going on. Thankfully @chirpbooks has this free and easy to use listening app so I can at the very least listen to my favorite books while I’m trying to do 10 million other things. (So what if I choose to use that extra time to listen to a book about organizing 🤷🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️😂)
What makes this app even better is that all books are discounted, many up to 95% off, AND they are yours to keep! Click the link in my bio to sign up for free today and start listening for less! Use promo code CHIRPIG20 for an additional 20% off your first purchase. 📚📖🎧 #hbtsavemoneywithchirp#hbtsp#chirpbooks#audiobooks#moneysaving#audiobook#savingmoney#organizing#mastermultitasker#gettingshitdone#worklifestyle
Hallelujah!! So it’s only taken about 23 days to finally get out of this funk.... and this girl is happy!! (Jeeez Nicole) I can see the sun shining through the clouds and it’s looking brighter. Sometimes the excitement of the new year just doesn’t cut it. I really wanted it to, I’m normally raring to go & all excited, but sometimes we just can help it and that’s okay!!
I’ve just had some mostly inner challenges I’m trying to overcome, nothing major, just life stuff, owing my own business stuff, trying to find my voice stuff, being in my 40’s stuff... a lot of that.... and my dads wife recently passed away so that’s a whole other internal thing going on. Seeing your dad or a parent enter into a new chapter hurts the heart. He is a strong man & I know he is gonna be just fine but you don’t ever want to see your parents hurt or struggle with anything.
So here I am January 24th & it’s looking bright my friends! You know your growing when you walk through the tough shit!! Carry on warrior is what I say!!
A few days ago I promised to show you how to fold some tricky items on the next #TidyFriday & asked if anyone had any special requests of things to be folded
I got quite a few requests so I decided to do a little folding series in February (& we’ll call it #FoldingFebruary 👔) Each #TidyFriday in February I’ll show you how to fold a few different items
So, if you have any other folding requests message me or comment below ⬇️
This organizing thing has gotten out of control. All I wanted to do was clean up the clutter...now I’m cleaning & organizing every nook & cranny! It’s really keeping me from working on my craft projects. (I keep reminding myself that a clean space will be a more productive space for me!) I’m taking the time to put stuff away, like the stack of paper that kept growing for example! I’ve been using a crate & hanging file folders to organize my 8 1/2 x 11 cardstock for years. It works really well to keep them organized by color and avoids them getting crinkled & creased. My larger paper and paper pads I keep in the 12 x 12 scrapbook boxes, that also seems to have gotten out of control. At one point I only had 3️⃣ of them.
Where were you on this day in years past?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
If you saw the previous post you know that having my old photos scanned and all my photos organized let me see some fun memories. I realized me and my aunt were together on the same day 30 years apart! In 2015 we took a short ladies-only trip to New York City. After this photo was taken I took some special tours of the MET collections. And my aunt, sister, and mom left me, went to Chinatown, and bought some knockoff purses.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Because my pics are organized and accessible they are a source of fun memories and joy... not stress, anxiety, and guilt. Let us help you enjoy your photos again. Organize, Preserve, Enjoy & Share like never before!

A few weeks ago, I boldly showed off my drawers. To be clear, I showed the insides of my makeup drawers after a fit of purging and organizing induced by the first full moon of 2020.
At the time, the energy of cleansing and release hit me like a tidal wave (as in I chose to catch that wave and go with its flow, rather than go down like a sinking ship), and this very same energy has carried me through January. Back when I showed the world my drawers I also declared my pantry was next up on my list for a complete overhaul, and I’m here to tell you, with much pride and excitement, I’ve followed through with my intention to do just that.

How long would it take you to find a photo from a random day in the 1980s? Do you have these photos scanned or in a box under the bed? Does your photo software have different ways of viewing your photos?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
When your photos are organized and accessible its fun and easy to look through your photos. I use the different views in @mylioapp to see my photos in new ways. It turns out me and my aunt were together on the same day 30 years apart. Reliving your memories and sharing with loved ones is the whole point of taking photos. Make sure your photo software lets you tag people and enter in dates on the older photos that have been digitized.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
If you want to Organize, Preserve, Enjoy & Share your photos give us a call! And check out the next post for the follow up photo from 2015!
Isn’t it funny how a new pair of shoes can be #motivating ? Back when my kids were little, I used to get emails about #organizing and #decluttering from @the_flylady. One of her tips was: “Put on shoes as soon as you get up (not flip-flops, but shoes with laces)!” Can’t say I do that every day, but today I was excited to sport my new light pink #kicks (and I will say I’ve been pretty productive in and out of the house)! 😊 #friyayvibes
Today is Day #23 of our 30-Day Declutter Challenge!

Today we are cleaning out the junk drawer! Somehow this tends to be the drop spot in many homes (and used to be for me, too). But ever since I gave each item a home, it has made a significant difference in how tidy things have stayed. When everything has a home, your family members know exactly where to put things away (when they will actually do that, ha!). 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗺𝘆 𝗡𝗘𝗪 𝗙𝗔𝗩𝗢𝗥𝗜𝗧𝗘! I have purchased them in 2 different sizes and I can't get enough! My Affiliate link is in my bio if you want to get some for yourself.
Tag someone you know who needs to organize their junk drawer!
My clients are my sidekicks! I love working closely with them to create THIS! 🙌🏽 Like WOW!! Have you already swiped 👈🏽? 😆
During the consultation & especially organizing days I’ll ask you so many questions because I want to understand how YOUR family operates so I can create systems THAT WILL WORK! Every member of the family (even the 🐶🐱)is considered when making decisions about where we will place “the goods”. 🤤 🥨🥫🍫🍪🥜 Big or small family, I’ve got you covered!!!
Now go swipe if you have not done so!!!

Hi friends! Anyone out there scared to look at the expiration dates on the abandoned food in the far back of your pantry? 😂🙈 Let’s clean that baby up! It’s an easy weekend project (and kinda fun if you’re an organizing geek like me 🤓)! Over on the blog I’m sharing my six best pantry organization ideas to help get your pantry organized and KEEP it that way! Hop on over to the top post on drivenbydecor.com where I share tips and sources for everything from the can rack organizer up top to the bin labels on the bottom (plus how I made the smaller printable labels too)! I am still working away here at getting organized🤪 I’m trying to focus on one room each day. .
The bathroom is done✅ This is our first floor bath so I don’t need a ton of storage in here. I’ll share some of my organizing tips for this tiny space in my stories later today. There was no room for built-ins or a sink with storage so we needed to be creative. I love this cotton woven basket from @organihaus for our bath towels. .
How do you keep your bathroom items organized?
