Wish I stayed for a night in one of these cabins 😍
Venture out and experience some of the Okanagan's history. This is the largest trestle on the Myra Canyon trail. It is 726 feet or 220m long and 180ft or 55m high. The steel bridge replaced the original wooden trestle in 1930-31.
With the recent rain, the local rivers and creeks are flowing again, and the salmon have started to return to spawn. This particular creek looks almost prehistoric with the moss covered trees and an abundance of ferns. This is one of my favourite times of year. #salmonrun2019
Thanksgiving weekend was well spent hiking and laughing with these turkeys in the Okanagan ❤️🦃

If this trail does not have a nickname, I would name it “Hope grind”. You gain almost 1000m elevation in less than 5km. However, once you reach the lake, you forget the pain. It was worth driving almost 150 km east for this view.
