🍁🚣🏼♂️✨ A weekend getaway doesn’t get much better than this.
Basically my every day life situation - falling asleep in the middle of the day because I just can’t stay awake during winter.😴 I propose hibernation for humans - imagine falling asleep in the beginning of December and waking up sometime in spring.. like a bear basically. 🐻 Who’s with me? 😆
Yep, that’s the best “meaningful” caption I can think of today. 💁🏻♀️ Collecting signatures for hibernation 👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻 send me a 🍰 if you agree. 😂
MY TOP 10 TRAVEL MOMENTS OF THE PAST DECADE (pics in ascending order)
10 Feeding the swans in Prague (2018). I’m a liiiitle scared of swans but I lived out my fairytale moment in a fairytale city and I’ll never forget it 🦢
9 Seeing the sun rise over Registan (2019). To be honest, I had tile fatigue by the time I left Uzbekistan, but the seeing one of the most beautiful sunrises over one of the most beautiful pieces of architecture in the country is something I won’t forget.
8 Driving down California’s Pacific Coast Highway (2017). An iconic road trip with iconic views. I felt like I was living in a Neach Boys song 😂
7 Visiting Portugal’s Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point in Europe (2018). I was one of four people there and it was breathtaking. It was one of those moments where you just feel so at peace with the sun and sea.
6 Helicopter ride over NYC a few months after I moved here. I’ve been to New York before then, but actually living there and seeing the entire island of Manhattan laid out at my feet took my breath away.
5 Ziplining over the forest canopy in Costa Rica (2014). I’m terrified of heights, but once I was up there I felt like I could take on the world. I wasn’t scared at all! (Ok, maybe a little bit).
4 Taking in Shanghai’s skyline at night (2012). One of the best skylines in the world, IMO. So mesmerizing I couldn’t take my eyes off it. (No pic 😢)
3 Hiking the Great Wall of China (2010). 5 hours, lots of sweat and cardio, and one of the greatest experiences of my life. (NO PHOTO. Literally none of me on the wall 😭).
2 Visiting Machu Picchu (2019). I’ve dreamed of visiting most my life, which means the chances of disappointment were high, but it did NOT disappoint. As stunning in real life as in photos.
1 Dusk over the fjords in Norway (2016). When people ask me what place inspired me most, this is it. Surrounded by utter silence and the towering mountains of one of Norway’s most beautiful fjords, I’ve never felt tinier, more awed, or more in love travel. I may not remember everything I did, but I’ll never forget the way this moment made me feel.
What’s your most memorable travel moment of the 2010s? ❤️

Satisfied with all the blessings, eternally grateful for what i have, but there’s a lot of work to be done and lots of things to be accomplished. #wanderers
How lucky are we to still have a part of nature right in the heart of our concrete jungle! This is one of the oldest permanent forest reserves in Malaysia, and although tiny, it has some really well-maintained walking trails, gardens and a must-visit canopy walk that towers above the rainforest and offers sweeping views of the city skyline 🌿 #malaysiatraveltrails
Mount Cook is the highest mountain in New Zealand. Its height is 3,724 metres and it lies in the Southern Alps, the mountain range which runs the length of the South Island. I totally love all this small paths of water, running through the field 🇦🇺
Today was a bit of a redemptive day for me. Three years ago I had my first helicopter ride, unconscious and near death to OHSU in Portland. Today was a helicopter ride full of life and joy touring Kauai in all of her beauty. I am full of gratitude.
The first pic is is about six weeks after my first helicopter ride with the crew that saved my life. The second pic is today. What a fantastic day!
I haven’t been traveling much and I’m enjoying being home. I think it makes me appreciate being home more when I get the chance. I hope everyone had a good weekend 🖤 @lexarmemory#ShotonLexar#lexarambassador

My recept trip to Iceland is probably the best trips from this year! 8 days of chaos, being surrounded by lovely people and the most important part... epic landscapes wherever you go! As I’ve mentioned above, this trip was chaotic! We tried to cover as much as possible and since we only have 2-4 hours of darkness a day, we only slept those hours! The rest of the time was spent by racing to spots, enjoying our time together, shooting content like crazy and charging our gear all day! One of my goals this trip was to focus on video more! Yet, I didn’t get any time to hit the record button since we spent all of our time shooting pictures! This short video consists drone, GoPro, iPhone and DSLR footage which is almost all the video I got during the trip! - Thanks for being part of this amazing experience @firstname.lastname@example.org@eyeofshe@patheight@annacatharina__
