Even though this little dog 🐕 changed our daily life so much, she was still the best addition to our life 🐶🥰🧡. We can’t wait to take her to all our adventures with us next year 🇸🇪 🇳🇴 🇩🇪 🇫🇷 🇦🇹

Happy International Mountain Day! ⛰️
One of my favorite trail is Ha Ling Peak in Canmore. Quick and easy hike to the summit. It has newly renovated trails attracting visitors and hikers all over. It can get pretty crowded so maybe try a sunrise or sunset hike 😜
It would be nice to put a hammock here and gaze at this view for a little while. What do you think?
What's your favorite trail?
This year at her Christmas concert, she decided she would pick her nails for 30 minutes and not sing ONE song. .
Let’s just say she had NO nails after. .
She is going through a “phase” is what her principal tells me. .
Are you dealing with anything similar? All of a sudden she doesn’t want to sing in class or participate in concerts. .
Needless to say she was a singing canary at dinner. Go figure. .
Love you anyways sweet girl.❤️

"Dame las alas de un águila para poder volar por encima de las montañas."
Dame la agilidad de un sarrio para poder saltar entre ellas." "Dame la prudencia de una marmota para respetarlas. "
"Dame la fuerza de un caballo para poder subirlas." "Y, sobretodo, dame mucha vida para seguir marcando la huella de mi bota en todos sus senderos."
Día Internacional de las Montañas
Let me just tell you, friends... trying out some new recipes these past couple of weeks is giving me LIFE in the struggle to come up with dinners that work for both my husband & I since we are fueled by such different foods. It’s been SO SO GOOD.
I don’t know about you guys, but the darker months are not so easy for me. Every year, I try to convince myself that there’s just a few tweaks I need to make to help myself get through it... but I’m coming to the point where I just acknowledge and accept the fact that this time of year is harder for me. It runs in my family, & it’s been a pattern. And ya know what? IT’S OKAY.
Choosing new recipes is just one of the ways that I’ve chosen to perk myself up while the darker days set in. I’ve chosen ones that bring me comfort while also working within what fuels me, doesn’t aggravate my food sensitivities, and tastes amazing. I am LOVING the new variety & comfort food feeling in this season of life.
Our FLAVOR FILLED fare:
✔️ Bell Pepper Beef Nachos w/ Manchego
✔️ Chicken Cacciatore
✔️ Herbed Spag. Squash, Tomatoes, & Ham
✔️ Beef Stew - paleo style
I will definitely be working these into the rotation again! To make this work for both of us, my husband adds a starch & I add more veggies! It’s so versatile and satisfies us both. A win-win, for sure.
What are some new recipes that you’ve tried recently?
What are some activities that you like to work into your days as it gets darker outside?
The light will come back soon, my friends! ☀️
