Hello everyone! I hope you are having a great day! I am wearing a previously #gifted dress from @adriftclothing and I created a fall look by adding a denim jacket. I don't really need a jacket because the weather is gorgeous! My monochrome look is completed with gray jewelry and navy and silver sandals.
Styled an outfit with two of my favorite trends for fall...leather (& faux leather!) & leopard. What are some of your favorite fall trends?!
We were so relieved to see silk dresses trending hard this summer. Mostly, it is the ultimate chic lazy outfit. It’s a one-piece throw on for summer, devastatingly comfortable, often bra optional and absolutely prime for layering come fall and winter.
Four basic principles (𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙧𝙪𝙡𝙚𝙨, I’m a rebel and I don’t like rules😜) apply equally well to interior design as they do to fashion: 𝒄𝒐𝒍𝒐𝒓, 𝒑𝒂𝒕𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒏, 𝒕𝒆𝒙𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒆, 𝒔𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒆
My styled ottoman tray is a good example of this.
▪️Color: The warm brown wood tray contrasts with the bright white faux fur pelt. The soft green in the leaves are set off by the dark amber antique bottle.▪️Pattern: Hexagon pattern of the candleholder. ▪️Texture: Stamped design in the silver metal lid of the gray wood box and the texture of the faux fur pelt.▪️Shine: Silver lid and the interior of the candleholder as well as in its hexagon pattern.
Combine these four elements and you create a look that is interesting and pleasing to the eye no matter what your decorating style is. 😊
Still one of my favourite blazers👍🏻👍🏻. Before you ask .... no, odd shoes are not the new fashion statement😂😂😂. The things we do for research😀. Although I did want to show how this blazer looks equally great dressed up with heels, or with trainers for a more casual look👌. The skirt is the belted faux leather that you may be sick of seeing on insta at this stage (but it is fab)👌. The jeans are the high waist Kaia. .
Not the best shot but this is a good buy from @fandfclothing at just £28. The utility look really works in smart office wear, I think, and this olive green is a great colour for Autumn. The dress has splits at the side which will look nice now and with black knee- length boots when it's colder #notgivinin#personalstyling
Life is always giving us challenges and putting obstacles in our way.
We often wish for things to be easier…
When really what we need to do is believe in ourselves because there is something inside all of us that is GREATER than any obstacle.
It is in the overcoming obstacles and rising to challenges that we become more, we become stronger and it makes life meaningful.
I lived in Cape Town for a big part of my childhood, so it's a city that's steeped in memories for me.
I'm heading back there soon for a couple of months and am looking forward to taking some time to breathe it in.
. @josplice took this cool pic.
