Beate created this wonderful and collectible piece with a vision..
"Creating Harmony as a Whole" - Beate says:
Regarding colour and forms I wanted to use a variety of contrasts: warm and cold colours, soft and pointed or angled forms, dark and light. Despite these contrasts I wanted to take the challenge to create a sense of harmony regarding the whole work. 🌀
My painting style is also a bit metaphoric and expresses some deeper truth of our lives. Despite the contrasts we can put together the different aspects of our lives to create a harmonious whole.

#hobbystreakday29#wip just some quick inks and washes on the green and armour plates. The cloaks bird was me just testing if my brush would hold a sharp point with this grey paint ( some cheap one I usually use for terrain) and the answer is almost,... It kept wanting to partially split. Touch ups of purple will be needed.
I haven’t worked in a sketchbook for about a year and I’ve missed it so much! Feels great to doodle again! I’m working on a new houseplant print. Would love it if you commented your favourite houseplants below, I don’t want to miss any!! 🌿
This was my first time drawing a fox and hot dang, I get why some artists are so obsessed with drawing foxes and or wolves now. Is this the first step towards me becoming a furry? Perhaps. On another note, I’ll be making a couple more fauna/flora themed illustrations like this in the future! Currently working on a bird, and then I think I’ll make a shark!!🦈 any other animals y’all would like to see?? Lemme know!
