Remember a while back no one could guess what I was painting with DIY Paint in Salty Kiss? Well, I have added a few more colors and distressed and wax. I have created little turned legs for your Christmas tree. All ornaments have been created using my motto - salvage, repurpose and create. Limited edition Turned Leg ornaments are heading to the shop soon! .
If you have not already heard..... PANTONE has announced their COLOR OF THE YEAR for 2020.
I love all things coastal so this beauty is right up my alley. "BLEACHED CORAL" may be painted in my home sometime soon.
I like to paint (most of the time), and I would likely paint every 6 months to freshen the look of a room.... Have you looked at the price of window treatments lately..... that actually function and cover the window. It would be costly to update those every time I wanted to freshen a room up. A little paint and a little elbow grease and a room can be transformed.... for me anyway AAANNNND, its an inexpensive option to updating a room.... cuz I'll do the work.
I call it "Putting lipstick on the pig". Can you see putting a touch of BLEACHED CORAL in your home....maybe a picture frame... a pillow.....maybe a wall or whole room.
Or how about the front door ?? Will you give it a shot?
With the weather turning cold many furniture painters are closing down their outside workshops. With DIY Paint you don’t have to paint outside. DIY Paint is an all natural, water-based clay paint. That means you can paint indoors around your kids and pets and no harmful fumes! Don’t stop painting just cause the weather is getting cold. I paint furniture in my living room while my daughter does her homework. Where do you paint? .
I have room for a couple custom pieces before the holidays!! Who has a piece they love (or have guilt about getting rid of) and it's just blah? I can help! I can turn any old piece into something that you will love all over again.
Send me a message and we'll chat about what you want done, and how I can do it😊
First painting, started thisafternoon, since moving back into the shed studio.
I was so lucky to find this pink panel which I had prepped when we were home last time.
I absolutely love working on panels. (I wish they were easier to post when large) I think I will order some more of these Italian ones. They are divine to work on🙏
If you can recommend any other panels, cradled also, I would love to hear what you are using?
