Starting over was never the plan, but I had to fight for my own self worth. The journey has been rocky and very vague but I am almost near the summit, I can see and feel its presence, oh how I look forward to what’s to come. It’s going to grand and all I can say is I am worthy of receiving all that is yet to come! Grateful for this journey of mine. #grateful#journey#peace#faith#patience#blessed#gradschool#gradlife#transformation

A beautiful pink shoes for a new born baby yeah!?
A feeling of cuteness, lots of love and happiness right?
So, yesterday I used this #visual#metaphor for my session.
Then on my whatsapp status😊. Wishes started pouring, with a curiosity.
No. I AM NOT EXPECTING ☺️ Aren't We all are behaving mechanically the way our brain is developed and conditioned to think.
This shoes I used as a metaphor for the baby step leading to something big.
When a baby is born we enjoy their presence, we accept their growth process and we don't crib and complaint.
Then why when we initiate a Project or a business we want immediate results.
Every project has its own life cycle.
We need to learn to be patient and adore, appreciate each phase with the same enthusiasm as we adore this phase of a newly born baby.
Wait and improve each phase, let it expand the way it should be.
Dont rush and get disheartened.
Being patient is one of the most difficult aspects to master. .
We live in such an instant gratification time. We want what we want now. Nothing worth working for will ever come easy or instantly. And if it does it won’t last. .
Let there be sacrifice and patience and it will all be worth it.
It takes courage to step onto a yoga mat. And, just as much...maybe even more, to step off.
A friend once said taking breaks in his practice, ultimately made it stronger. My own teacher says, any of us who stick with it long enough, will watch our practice wax and wane. .
While yoga has personally brought so much goodness in my life, I have come to equally embrace the breaks. Just like the exhale to inhale. Sometimes, we need to lean into other forms of support. Sometimes, the forgetting, is what helps us understand how far we’ve come. And, for some of us... as we become better students of ourselves, we begin to see the ways we’ve brought our traumas right along onto that 72” long strip of rubber with us.
Re-wiring takes time, patience, and immense forgiveness. Those of us with compulsive tendencies, the transferring an addiction to yoga was a step we had to take. It was a vital step in the re-wiring process. Too much yoga IS way better than being a shopaholic, binging + purging, or thrill-seeking to engage in risky behavior (some of my own favorite pastimes). Though, at a certain point, when we become healthier...As we start to get really intimate with the part of us who finds *anything* not to feel...(she’s mad creative, that one!) we start to connect the dots. We see the way we’ve used our asana to avoid ourselves at the deepest level. We no longer need to identify with the ability to stand on our head or the tight body that we’ve developed. With gratitude, we thank She who gave us enough self-confidence to make it to this point, with enough emotional sobriety so, we could courageous take the next step.
And, as we do...we go gently. Stepping into + Arriving more fully in this body, ready to stand tall + feel deeply all the wisdom she has to offer✨

The one thing I've always prayed for is for God to help me inspire and impact the lives of others. 💝At the time I didn't know how this would happen.
But today I can say I know how...Through my story 💝. I know this is the beginning of what is about to unfold.
I can only say I am deeply grateful and honored to be able to be a PUBLISHED AUTHOR. What?! Not only will I get to be an author just like I dreamed one day but I will also get to inspire others.
The process of writing my story, reflecting, and being vulnerable has been extremely hard but at the same time empowering and healing for me. All I could think of when writing was how it was going to touch the lives of many young Latinas and give them hope, guidance or that light that I once needed💫⭐️🌟. I am humbled. I am blessed. ❤️ Today’s Inspired Young Latina Book Coming out May 28. #empoweredlatinas#blessed
Training is like cooking and it takes patience to not mix it all at once. Start with one thing you forgot you had and maybe start something else while you wait for that to bake and slowly start adding other ingredients. At the end all the work you put into it is worth every bite at lunch or dinner or every mile at race day. Butter squash with asparagus, silk tofu and onions in a Malaysia sauce. Nicely paired with jasmine rice.
Note 📝 to Self‼️ Sometimes you gotta check yourself so you can do better ✨✨✨✨

Happiness is not control or pleasure, happiness is inner peace. Inner peace comes with a profound acceptance/observation/understanding of the present moment, when we can see the changing nature of reality.

The last 72 hours have been hard. Today this is his nap, he fought me and didn’t wanna go to bed. I peeled him some cuties and they were his treats, while listening to church music. He smiled & I cried then he asked for more cuties to peel. I definitely don’t show the hard parts of this, but it’s really a challenge by itself. We went to bed at 5am, woke at 9am for a nurse in home visit. I am not a mother and have no children, but I get a glimpse of it now. So now we take what we can get. If we wanna sleep on the floor by the bathroom that’s where we’re sleeping. If he wants to go on a walk and sit and gaze into the sunlight that’s what we do. If he wants to call me stupid, dumb, a liar I let him. Because the exhaustion from fighting him; I will never win. I sit here and watch him and think why do people have to suffer this way. It’s def a different love when it’s a parent. And I kid you not any child who cares for a parent u get a mfkn award!!!!!! You’re the real heroes. I’m gonna start blogging, follow our journey through the blog. #dadandme#recoverymode#love#patience
