😌Did you get a chance to see our brand new pattern, #tfpsautumnskies that we released on Friday?!
🤗I absolutely loved finishing this project! I used a new to me adhesive, Aleene's Fabric Fusion tape, and cut two pieces and stuck it to the back of the project. Then I stuck it to a thin piece of craft plywood and glued the entire thing to the pumpkin that I found at Target! Combined with some cute fall floral picks from Michael's, it went together super quick.

Self love. You hear it all the time but it’s different for everyone. I truly believe it’s rooted in childhood and then stuck in your subconscious. If you had a terrible father, like I did, you’ll have to reprogram your subconscious mind to increase your self worth. If you don’t, you’ll attract that same pattern over and over again and it’s hard to break. So, for me, self love was walking away from dysfunction, healing, taking that energy and recycling it back into me. Going into the deep ocean of the subconscious and reprogramming it drop by drop, step by step. It’s painful, hard and you have to invest a lot of time and energy into it but worth it. That’s why I feel grateful all the time. Some people never wake up and get the chance to do this. They’re not even aware of what’s happening within and never even know what self love is. It’s easier to stay in the familiar. I do have an amazing mother and mentor that have made all the difference in the world and for whom I’m grateful for daily. But reprogramming had to happen and now I find myself strong, happy and in love with who I am; even the imperfections. There’s still work to be done but this process has been the greatest adventure. Here’s to self love and being brave enough to go into the deep end of the ocean. Today’s Full Moon in Piscis is just that. Piscis is a water sign that loves to dive deep. I encourage you to jump in because it might me frightening but you’ll find treasures that you could only dream of. Happy moon vibes beautiful creatures...life is infinite if you live fearlessly. ♾♥️✨🌕🧜🏻♀️

✨💗 Colosseum 💗✨
Here’s a video of me working on my Colosseum mandala! 😇
I’ve learnt that doing the outlines, then erasing the grid before filling in the details is a really effective method as the ink remains vivid 🌟
I’ve noticed that erasing the grid after filling in the patterns actually removes some of the ink, so the whole look can sometimes be a bit dull 🙉🙊
Hope this tip helps! ❤️
Flowers are a constant source of inspiration for my work and I routinely incorporate them into my art, be it art journaling or intricate black and white designs. I simply love drawing them. Swipe to see more.

My Scandinavia fabric for @rochepapierciseautextile 〰️ I’d love to use it somewhere here. After almost two years in Vienna I still haven’t made our flat feel like « our home » yet... I guess I am still thinking of it as a temporary place (even though it’s not!) Any other expat feel this way?! #myriamvannestepatterns
