A cement truck spilled its load last Friday morning, triggering a violent crash that tragically left two motorists dead in Humble, Texas. The February 14th accident occurred shortly before 5:30 a.m., just after the cement truck left the Lattimore Materials Corporation plant in northeast Harris County, about 20 miles outside of Houston.

Sorry for the repost... there was a misspelling in the first one. Normally, getting a judgment is where the fight ends. In this case, it is just the beginning. Our client at Kherkher Garcia was a deep-sea diver working on the removal of an anchor which secured pipeline to the seabed in the Gulf of Mexico. During the dive operations, the seabed collapsed on him. After being caved in for a few hours, he was rushed up to the vessel. Because he was rushed up, nitrogen bubbles emulsified his internal organs and he died from his injuries after an hour of being in the decompression chamber on the vessel.
Throughout this whole ordeal, we believe the companies responsible for his death are subject to the justice of the United States legal system. However, they believe otherwise. We will now begin the process of holding all responsible parties accountable through every avenue the law provides. We are always prepared to fight hard for our clients. #personalinjury#personalinjurylawyer#personalinjuryattorney#attorney#attorneylife#attorneytom#maritimelawyers#maritime#maritimeinjury#justice
If you’ve ever been in a fender bender, you were probably more concerned about damage to your car than damage to your body. After all, the airbags didn’t deploy and you felt okay. You might have been a little stiff the next day, but that’s no big deal, right? This is dangerously wrong!
Mrs. K. returned home after a long day at work. She jumped in the elevator and took it up to her apartment floor. As the elevator door opened, she began to step out and was blindsided by a malfunctioning fire door. Mrs. K was knocked down and suffered a compression fracture in her spine.
Over the next three years, she underwent a kyphoplasty procedure and a cervical fusion. She continued having post-concussive symptoms, which, coupled with her pain, affected her every day. Throughout discovery, defendants denied all responsibility for causing the incident, and disputed Mrs. K’s injuries. SLG continued to dig, finding gold in discovery and during depositions that turned the case on its head.
Finally, with two weeks before trial, the defendants agreed to take responsibility and settled the case. Mrs. K had $220,000 in medical bills, and the total amount of the settlement was $3,450,000.
Congratulations to Justice Team’s Greyson Goody on another huge result and to @edwinhongesq for beating the defense’s motion for summary judgment.
It’s the first Monday of the new decade! Let’s make it count. I’m sure we’ve all made plans, written out our goals and made vision boards. Let’s make this the year that we stay committed and make it happen!
Today marks a very special moment in my life. I am so blessed to share with all of you that today marks 10 years at my work. I remember my first day like it was yesterday. Coming from a rough past and searching for a new beginning I was unsure of how things would go and wondering just how long it would last. BUT GOD HAD GREAT PLANS FOR ME.
ALL THE GLORY TO GOD FOR THIS DAY. I’m so thankful for all the people I have met along the way and those who I have been able to help who have become constant friends in my life. It has been amazing to be apart of something I have helped grow. So thank you to everyone who has been part of my life the past ten years and has been able to watch this grow with me. My cup runneth over. #lawoffice#personalinjury#losangeles#10years#autotort

I was blessed to represent my client in her pursuit to take down Allstate and recover damages for her motor vehicle collision. This litigation case has been ongoing for about 2-3 years. My client had been through various attorneys and I vowed to her and myself that I would see it through to the end. She was struck head on by a negligent driver and her life was up-ended from that day forward. The collision required her to have surgery even though she tried to persevere through the pain. I let opposing counsel know less than 30 days before trial our position: that it was policy limits at $100k or trial. They obtained the authority and now the fight still continues until check is in hand. Further, the current climate in personal injury has showed us that Allstate is a carrier who does not give a damn about injured parties. This is why this one means so much to me. I make it a point everyday to take down corporations who cause injuries to individuals. On to the next one!
