I took this photo last night on a walk around the family farm. The irrigation pond is quite picturesque when the twilight hour comes. Beauty can be found just about anywhere when you look at it the right way. #celebrateyourancestors#perspective
“The idea that racism can be connected to capitalism has been around for a long time; the question is how the connection works, and whether the two are inextricable.”
We must recognize that the events unfolding come from a long history of a broken system. A broken capitalist system that wasn't designed to work out for everybody. A system we still use today.
While it is important to think globally, we must act locally. More now than ever is the time to support your community. Listen to one another. Learn from one another.

Meet Olympus Mons, the tallest mountain in the Solar System. #bosplanet
Olympus Mons is a very large shield volcano on the planet Mars. The volcano has a height of nearly 22 km as measured by the Mars Orbiter Laser Altimeter. Olympus Mons is about two and a half times Mount Everest's height above sea level.
This monster is 624 km (374 mi) in diameter (approximately the same size as the state of Arizona), 25 km and is rimmed by a 6 km (4 mi) high scarp. A caldera 80 km (50 mi) wide is located at the summit of Olympus Mons.
👉 In 2 hours, we’ll go live with @sarahcruddastv and @tweetsoutloud to discuss all things Mars, Europa, Earth sciences and more!
Tune in. It’s gonna be awesome.
