Mangroves are the rainforests by the sea. Such a beautiful sight outside our room .
Mangroves, seagrass beds, and coral reefs work as a single system that keeps coastal zones healthy. Mangroves provide essential habitat for thousands of species. They also stabilize shorelines, preventing erosion and protecting the land--and the people who live there--from waves and storms. Mangroves shield inland areas during storms and minimize damage. ... Mangrove forests provide homes for several species of plants and animals.
The three stooges trying out surfing 🏄🏼♀️ side note: I did not bump Bugs and survived turning haha 😂

Dreaming of these warm summer days! ☀️
Just kidding, we are still in SE Asia and it’s still hot as hell! 🥵 No cozy sweaters or cute boots for us! But honestly this reminds me of my winters spent back home in Florida or the weather Hamey experiences year round in the Maldives! 🌴
Where are you in the world right now? Somewhere warm and sunny or snuggled up in your winter gear? ❄️
Tips for Visiting 7 Commandos Beach:
* A visit to this beach is included in Tour A of a tour in El Nido
* You can also visit by renting a kayak and paddling out there yourself!
* There is a 200 PHP ($4 USD) environmental tax for anyone who is going to be visiting the islands in Bacuit Bay But you only have to pay once in a 10 day time frame
* You can take either a private or group tour in El Nido and the cost varies depending on what you choose. * The group tour costs 1,200 PHP plus the 200 PHP environmental tax plus the 200 PHP entrance fee to the Big lagoon. So total 1,600 PHP ($31.45 USD) per person. * You can book your tours in advance or even the morning of departure! There are plenty of tour agencies around El Nido Town Proper!

"Love is like a beautiful flower which I may not touch, but whose fragrance makes the garden a place of delight just the same." Helen Keller
Aside with the occupation previously posted on my Instagram during my experience in hiking Mount Ijen another thing that are visible when you visit the said place was the "workers" or what they called porters. However this is not just "porter" we saw from other mountains that carried goods or bags. They brought hiker's riding in what they called "taxi" that looks similar with the trolleys starting from jump off point going to the summit. Imagine this scene in some movie where someone pulling or pushing their master sitting in a comfortable chair while on way to their destination. Aside from that, considering their age you can picture out their hardship while doing the said work. I wish I had enough time to at least hear their stories and how they overcome the job.
People say the road less-travelled leads to awesome adventures that’s why we took the tougher, seldom visited route connecting Lumiang and Sumaguing cave. We initially thought it was gonna be a walk in the park until we found ourselves crawling through tight spaces and treading along rocky edges.
Can you imagine staying in a Bamboo Nipa hut with this view? We can, and this is why we choose this area.
This is the view our future guests will have - during the day it will be blue skies and palm trees, and at night you can admire the stunning sunsets the Philippines are famous for.
Check back tomorrow for the first photo of our bamboo hut build!
If only they knew at this point they would be hiking back up the hill again to help me find my phone 🤦🏼♀️ #blondemoment

Give your 100%.
No matter who you are and what you do. Always strive to give hundred percent in your work, friendships, relationships and all aspects of life. A lot of people do things half heartedly just to do or just to be. I don't understand it. Either do or don't. Be or don't be.The middle lane is confusing, painful and exhausting. It baffles me to see people giving 10% when I give 100% of my loyalty and trust to all kinds of relationships. 💯
It is a random post as I emotionally struggle this week. I wanted to say different things about the picture but I would not be 100% aligned with my feelings. So, I chose to be vulnerable, random, raw and true to myself. 🏞️
Nature is where I seek solace, answers and comfort when run-down by life. Even when everyone turns backwards when you need them, just stay calm, centered, grounded and within yourself. ✨
Fun fact: You have to do 9 river-crossings to see this beautiful waterfall. And you can only go there with a guide. Swipe right to see the long exposure version. To get the milky look for awaterfall, you have to shoot at low aperture and low shutter speed. This is a 5 sec exposure at f/22 and iso64
