Giant’s Causeway, Ireland, 2010
“I love the color of light at sunset: that golden consummation of the landscape. I took at the Giant’s Causeway, in County Antrim, on the north coast of Northern Ireland, with the Atlantic coming in. It’s a UNESCO World Heritage site and probably the biggest tourist attraction in Ireland. There was a really big sea that night, and strong, clear light. I took about 200 shots over a couple of hours. This photograph was a three-second exposure so the sea has flattened out. There was no mist or fog; the sun was very direct and sharp. So it made for a brilliant picture." Available as a chromogenic print framed or unframed in sizes up to 2.0m.
