While scouting a new location years ago with my friend @luksth in Ecuador, we found a Gliding Tree Frog. ⠀
I composed to include a halogen streetlight outside the lodge we were staying at and held a flash strategically behind to mimic the light from the fake moon. ⠀
Even though I took this at night and used flash, I shot wide open at f/2.8 to properly expose for the streetlight and to give more mood to the photo.⠀

i have a shirt that says “GRL PWR” across the front and I get so much attention for it every time I wear it. seems that everyone has an opinion about females, feminism, or feminists. and actually, that’s great. let’s talk about it.
when I wear GRL PWR, what am i trying to say?
i believe in women. i believe they can do amazing things.
i also believe in men. i believe they can do amazing things.
i am pro women. i think women should support women and i think they should teach their daughters to do the same. i also believe we should support men and let ourselves be supported by them as well. i believe that “pro woman” should not mean no support for men. I believe in balance. So GRL PWR. And also BOY PWR. how about a world of support. #katesaylinphoto
There are a lot of great hacks that we can create at home, this is one of my favourites. What you will need is a small water bottle ( cut the top and bottom) led lights and and object or a model. 1. Simply attach the bottle to the lense of the camera and place the camera on a flat surface. 2. Use the light to creat a nice-looking background or you can also choose the background of your choice. 3. Set you camera and settings and your are ready to go. This is a good exercise to practice the lighting and play with the setting of you’r camera and create cool photos. Here is an example of the settings i used for the photo above. 1/60 -F5.6 Let me know if you try it in the comments. #photography#photohacks#photocreative#torontophotograph#VisualsAM#phototricks#nikon#nikon5100
