If my conversations with God, THE God, can be redundant or repetitive or blasé, or if I can allow myself to be distracted, disengaged, and unfocused while speaking with The Creator of the Universe, there’s a problem with that.
What can be done to keep our prayers from becoming commonplace and lackluster? What do you do when the “awe” wears off?
Do you remember back in the day when we used to print emails and news articles to share and read later because internet access was so limited? My, oh my, how much has changed. I believe I actually still have some stacks of old song lyrics and guitar tabs lying around somewhere. I’m not sure why. I’m 900% positive I will grab my phone and bring up a song on it before I go looking for an old stack of papers. Maybe that’s just me, though. Maybe you still live life all crazy and print things off to read later. If that’s the case, to save the 10 trees this C could take to print if I keep rambling, let’s get this thing moving.
Have you ever had a conversation with someone at some point in the day, and then later on that same day, you can't remember what you talked about? Or, even more startling, if you even talked at all? Have you ever heard a sermon and then over lunch, possibly just minutes removed, you can’t remember what the preacher spoke on? Don’t freak out, it’s probably not because you’re getting old. (Unless you are getting old, in which case, maybe it is because you’re getting old.)
There are a lot of “normal” reasons this sort of thing can happen, from the general busyness of our days, to the content being rather unremarkable, to us being distracted and only partly paying attention, to a variety of other contributing factors. For me, the question isn’t whether this is “normal”. The question is, “Is this good?”

Photo: #DeathValleyNationalPark . Taken by me on my #Pixel2 . #jesus#prayer
Shot film journey to the Dangerous Kalu Waterfall located near the Pimpalgaon Joga Dam near the Malshej Ghat 🔥☠ Me and my friend Aniket went on a ride and trek to the above destination and by far this was the most beautiful peaceful yet scary place i have ever been on this planet. Would love to explore even more such places , feel free to comment down below any places likewise .
I promised @bromley.greg that I'd post a comparison of the #pixel2 and #pixel4 cameras.
The first pic is from a year ago on the pixel 2, and the second is from today on my pixel 4. You can really see the difference in the details between the two. The second photo shows off single strands of hairs, and imperfections in my makeup/skin that get lost on the older camera.
Overall I love the improved camera. It probably only makes sense for those of us who would be lost without a good camera on our phones, but honestly this is a huge improvement for me!
