Isaiah 61:3 "He gave me... beauty for ashes, joy for my mourning and praise for heaviness"
This t-shirt is everything you've dreamed of and more. It feels soft and lightweight, with the right amount of stretch. It's comfortable and flattering for both men and women.
Plant care has become an outlet for my emotional overload this past week.
Still one of my faves is this unbelievable moonstone. She's been putting a lot of her energy into these chunky little pups down below, and whatever that weird pink stringy stuff is. There's a ton more of it underneath that I couldn't quite photograph. She got a good dusting and soak today.
Who else gets giddy at the sight of a forming leaf? #fiddleleaffig 🌱❤️

Taking a moment to appreciate the growth of my plants is something I often forget to do, but it’s one of my favorite things.
I love seeing the growth in living beings. I love seeing them nurtured and cared for and having them grow with love as a result.
You know what else grows as they get treated properly and are given the right conditions to grow? Humans.
You what happens when people are treated unfairly and are forced to live under different laws than those who enforce those laws? Anger. Protests. Demands for justice. Nationwide riots.
Why did it take Ahmaud armery’s murderers 2 months (and a viral video) to be arrested? Why did George Floyd’s murderers and those that stood by him just now get the punishment they deserve?
This country needs to change. And I’m not talking “racist people need to stop being racist”, I’m talking about how people need to be held accountable. I’m talking about how the DAs that are allowing (and defending) racist murderers need to be incarcerated along with the murderers. I’m talking about changing the system by rightfully charging each and every person involved in unfair acts of racial injustice.
Sign the petitions, send letters, make phone calls. Don’t stop giving a shit just because George Floyd got justice on his case. This is one of many mistrials. One of WAY too many.

My pitcher plant has bloomed 💗 Look at that colour!! It smells like 💩 but that's how it attracts the bugs! I wish it wasn't directly in front of my door because it is RANK 😂 and it has a cloud of flies around it but at least it is pretty!
Tucked away in Back Bay on St James Street are a few of our favorite outdoor living walls. This impressive array is surrounded by benches and a fountain, all right next to the sidewalk. Take some time outside and check it out 🌿
Want a plant that will make you constantly question if you know anything or are doing anything right? Well I’ve got the plant for you! Calathea White Fusion generously provides it’s owners with the sobering reality that you do in fact, know nothing! Thanks White Fusion for keeping me on my toes and ready for whatever inevitable problem you’ll have next 🙃
With summer just around the corner, I’ve been trying to turn my urban jungle into a tropical paradise. In lieu of a humidifier (my one start leaking everywhere...which wasn’t very useful), I’ve been misting my plants a little more frequently, turning up the heat, opening the blinds, and supplementing that light with some artificial sunlight, too. Hopefully this will suffice while I look for a better humidifier option...🤔
