I love a good RUNCH (a lunch break run). A simple 20-30 minute break from the day and I always feel reset. Today’s break was quiet and oh so perfect. I feel grateful to have these little trails less then a mile from where I work ❤️

Hiking in Washington is like playing a game with the weather, chasing lights and conditions. When you set your alarm clock for 5 am to see sunrise, you probably won’t see it. It’s cold, it’s raining and it’s tiring. You might not get a good view of the mountains but you get a good story to remember and tell.

Nothing captures the awe and wonder of Yoho National Park like the tremendous thunder of Takakkaw Falls. Plunging from above at a height of 380m with a 254m freefall, Canada's second highest waterfall leaves every visitor humbled. Fed by the Daly Glacier above, Takakkaw Falls' flow is at its peak in July when glacial meltwater is running freely. •
