I will never forget strapping Aster to me at 3 months old and trekking to Indianapolis, IN for an entire 3 days - just the two of us! We jumped on a plane, rented a car, attended workouts, drank unicorn juice and superfood shakes, met new people, listened to top leaders, learned, networked and had the time of our lives! Oh, plus the diaper changes and nursing sessions along the way! I was scared out of my mind to travel on a plane, by myself, with an infant but I did it anyway because attending this conference gets me all jazzed up and makes me feel apart of something that changes lives!
Coaching has allowed me remain accountable to my health, wellness and fitness, it has made me step outside of my comfort zone, I learn new things daily, I’ve met some pretty awesome people and it has increased my confidence tenfold.
I no longer live ashamed of the things I have done, I embrace who I am and share my authentic self with the world. My past has shaped who I am today and who I have yet to become. Eating disorders haunted me for years, alcohol is something I STILL struggle with but I think the most challenging is not hiding whatever it was that I experienced because of the shame I felt. I’ve always been an introvert when it comes to sharing... I am pretty sure it has to do with being a School Counselor and having a Psychology degree. I used to be a pretty private person! Before becoming a coach, I deleted my social media accounts at least 5 times, never posted and had an alias as my name. I wasted sooooo many hours mindlessly scrolling my newsfeed and getting lost in a sea of sponsored ads!! Time I will never get back!
I learned that we all have a story and we all have something unique to share with this world if we are willing to get comfortable with being uncomfortable. Coaching has changed my life, for the better... mentally, physically and financially. If this resonates with you, drop a gif below and let’s connect!!
Consistency is the most important aspect in anything that you do or what you are trying to achieve.
