We all have those days. Those days where things don’t go quite the way you planned, you get taken off guard, or you’re plain old having a sh*tty day. Here are a few ways to navigate the 💩 while staying positive.
Read or listen to positive words that elevate your mood. It could be a poem, a podcast, a favorite quote, your favorite morning radio show.
Try out different expectations. Start your day with self-affirming words like “Today I expect something exciting will happen for me.” You’ve heard it many times before and here’s a reminder. Focus on what you can control. Don’t let what you can’t control distract you or paralyze you.
Spend time with positive people as often as possible. Choose to have conversations about solutions and not just a continuous loop about problems.
Instead of seeing things as a win or a failure shift to seeing things as winning or learning. It’s not a failure it’s an opportunity to grow and learn.
Celebrate your accomplishments daily no matter how big or small. For example, you drank all your water - give yourself a round of applause!
And remember to smile as often as possible even when you’re the only one in the room.
‼️ new FREE program is READY ‼️ I’m so excited to release the program that I’ve been working on the past couple of months. Before I released it, I used it myself. This is a program that helped me build strength and a little bit of mass.
This program gives you access to a private Facebook group where you can review, post questions, or simply make friends with other lifters. This is optional and is only for my female lifters.
I just wrote yet another one that I’m starting that focuses even more on strength. Once that will be ready for release, I will let you know.
In the mean time, if you are interested, please email me at email@example.com. I also have an email button on my profile.
This afternoon I visited the hospital for a follow up with my consultant at the pain clinic. Keppra increased to 1500mg twice a day alongside 1.5mg Clonazepam. Although I have been discharged, I will be going back in 6 months to see my consultant. I also have regular appointments with my epilepsy nurse. Hopefully the new dosage will work and my anxiety improves soon. There is a possibility I am suffering from this due to my Keppra. I might have to switch to another medication if this and my seizures do not stop. I reckon my anxiety is due to the number of seizures I have had whilst out. But only time will tell. Fingers crossed. One week seizure free already. It is important to make the most of every day without a seizure. I am grateful for each day. Although I continue to fight this battle, I get up and keep going with my life. Wishing everyone seizure free days! 💪💜💜🥊➡️ #epilepsy#epilepsywarrior#strong#hospitalvisits#epilepsyfighter#positiveenergy#seizurefreeday#seizures#seizurefree#grateful#hopeful#seizurefreedom#seizurestrong#seizuresurvivor
