I miss it. The wind, the cold, the sound of the creek rushing under the bridge. I also realize that it looks like 2020 is going to be a wash for the most part. Convict will still be there in a month, six months, a year from now. The whole eastern Sierra or wherever your happy place is will be too. Collectively we need to accept that life right now isn’t normal and trips can wait. Hordes of out of towners increasing the risk of Covid because we HAVE to get out is going to hurt the small towns with limited health care facilities. I need a trip as bad as anyone but even I concede it is selfish to try and go right now. Do your part.

Scattered. That’s how I feel when I put time with The LORD on the back burner.
My days are different when I don’t place JESUS before everything else.
Now this isn’t a legalistic thing, checking items off a list, it’s a heart issue.
I need HIS Loving Wisdom and Guidance for all that I have in front of me. You see, when I spend time with The LORD at the beginning of my day, giving HIM my *first and best*, everything is different. I see people and situations through HIS Eyes/Heart and not my own. I’m different after sitting in HIS Presence in prayer and scripture study. I have a peace that pours over me before I step out the door.
The burdens I carry, fade in the Light of HIS Presence.
I’m not alone.
I don’t have to stress when I allow JESUS into my day, HE Guides my way.
✝️“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.”~Jeremiah 29:11
This word was given to Jeremiah while the Israelites were in exile. This wasn’t what they wanted to hear. They wanted to hear that they were going to be set free, delivered immediately. But GOD was reminding them that HE was with them in the trials. The Israelites were in Babylon, and The LORD was working in the middle of it all. It didn’t look good...but GOD was in their midst.
Friends, in these crazy times we find ourselves in, nothing has changed in GOD’s Kingdom. HE is still seeking to draw people back to HIM in right relationship,
✝️”Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.”~Romans 5:1-2
Salvation is found in JESUS CHRIST, Who sacrificed all for you and I.
HIS Plans are Good, Perfect and Righteous.
HE goes before us.
HE Knows The Way.
Let’s not forget to seek HIM in all things. Spending time with JESUS is the answer to all you’ve been struggling with. We often make it so much harder than it has to be. I pray we make time with The LORD our main priority. For as we do...all else falls perfectly into place.

Mount Fuji (富士山, Fujisan) is located on the island of Honshū, is the highest mountain in Japan, standing 3,776.24 metres (12,389.2 ft). It is also the second-highest volcano located on an island in Asia (after Mount Kerinci on the island of Sumatra), and seventh-highest peak of an island on Earth. Mount Fuji is an active stratovolcano that last erupted from 1707 to 1708. The mountain stands about 100 kilometres (62 mi) south-west of Tokyo, and can be seen from there on clear days. Mount Fuji's exceptionally symmetrical cone, which is snow-capped for about 5 months a year, is commonly used as a cultural icon of Japan and it is frequently depicted in many arts and photographs, as well as visited by sightseers and climbers.
