WEDNESDAY’S WORKFLOW 👨🏾💻⠀
StudyFast has always been a team effort. But we recognise that this approach does not necessarily work for everyone. ⠀
There is no right or wrong approach, some tasks are better handled by an individual than a group: ⠀

HOW TO REDUCE STRESS DURING THE HOLIDAY SEASON WITH 14 TIME MANAGEMENT TIPS 🕚 ▶️Tip 7 of 14!
7. Prioritize & Pick Your Events Carefully ✔️ During holidays and breaks, more invites go out. As a result, there is always one day or two that is booked solid.
You want to do all the things, see all the people, visit all the tourist attractions …. and that can be exhausting! 😩
The truth is, you can’t go to everything and still work and homeschool.
Instead of freaking out, check your calendar 📅 and choose your top tasks. Look and see what can be shifted to another time slot or day and what can’t.
Next, plan accordingly. 📖
The key is to be intentional about your career, homeschool, social and personal invites.
By taking a few minutes to prioritize what is important to you, your day will run smoother and allow you to be more present at the events you are at.
I'll be sharing 14 ways to reduce stress during the holidays so stay tuned 👀
There is a lot that goes into developing a productivity system that works for you. I always tell people to start small and just find a task manager that works for them. It can be an app, can also be a notepad or notebook if you feel more comfortable with it. I've used only my #bulletjournal for a long time.
Today I still use a bullet journal combined with a few apps to power up the way I work and create results.
The important takeaway from today's tip is that by using a task management system, you can put everything that is on your mind into that system. This will clear your thoughts and give you peace of mind by knowing that everything is registered and, as long as you go back and review it, nothing will be forgotten.
Do you already use an app? Or a planner? How do you organize your tasks? 📷 meandering_maru @twenty20#produktivnerd#produktivlab
RAISE YOUR HAND IF YOU SUCK AT MANAGING YOUR TIME🤚🏻🤚🏻🤚🏻
You’re being pulled in a million directions. ⠀⠀
You’re getting all the phone calls and having no time for your actual work.
You spend more time “researching” than working.
The list goes on and on, and guess what, I GET IT. I’ve been there more times than I can count and I’m here to tell you...
You can change it! And I’m gonna tell you how😏
📲 Turn your phone on airplane/ silent mode and only check during certain times of day. I’m 100% sure not ALL of your calls need attention at that very moment.
📧 Only check emails during certain times also. The world won’t come crashing down if you don’t answer right away.
⏰ Set timers/ alarms for tasks. Give yourself a time limit (I like 20-30 minutes) then move on ESPECIALLY when looking for research or inspiration. It’s so easy to go down a rabbit hole and waste a few hours. If after that time you haven’t completed your task, still move on, but come back to it later.
🚫 Final tip, you are allowed to say no! You have 2 deadlines in a day and some asks you to squeeze in one more thing? KINDLY let them know that you are swamped and can’t take on any more work for that day.
On e you start implementing these steps, you’ll notice and increase in work quality and you will finally be able to focus. If you have any other time management tips, let me know in the comments! I’d love to hear them☺️
Want to make your day instantly better? Let's play a game. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Wherever you are, make a quick list of one thing you've perceived with each of your five senses today that you're thankful for! Ready... Go!
I'm currently in my studio loving the smell of some essential oils diffusing. The sight of the studio @nicola_stegmann and I created for me to work in and be inspired by. The sound of my health mentor @stephencabral podcast, keeping me informed on the latest in functional medicine and lifestyle. This morning I was so grateful for the taste of my coffee from @unionroasted and the chance to jump on my @liforme
Yoga mat for practice.
What's on your list?
Learning is more than waking up one day and deciding you want to pick up something new.
The most successful people strive to embody a growth mindset — a mindset that embodies the idea that we can always be better, that we should be constantly learning. But to help us achieve our goals in life and at work, learning must be purposeful.
But purposeful learning doesn’t just mean deciding you want to learn something new. It’s a path with many steps towards the summit.
Building daily learning habits is the number one way to grow professionally and personally. As Daniel Pink, author of Drive points out:
Is everyone staying toasty out there? Temperatures are dropping from coast to coast, but just as I was about to take a hot bath, this client review came through and warmed my heart. ⠀
"Lisa is AMAZING! I had the pleasure of working with her recently. She helped me so much with setting goals, managing priorities and the mindset about it! Highly recommend 💗!” ⠀
And what a pleasure to work with great entrepreneurs like @wellness_with_naz 🙏💗⠀
What a gift to know I've been able to deliver that kind of happiness to my wonderful clients!⠀

Distraction is the number one killer of productivity. If you want to get more done, know when your “optimal” time is. For me, it’s between 9am - 2pm. During those hours, I work on growth tasks like content and product creation. Outside of those hours, I work on admin tasks or just end my day there. When is your most productive time?
IF NOT NOW, THEN WHEN?
I know you...
You’re a dreamer, a creator, with your head in the clouds..
You get caught up in your big vision, the uncertain future and the PULL of a “better” life
You have about ten unused journals, two planners and a dozen more vision boards on Pinterest 👀
Sometimes you let that grand vision of yours pull you out of the NOW and get overwhelmed with all the little details
So you procrastinate on the actual execution saying:
“I'll figure it out tomorrow”
"I just need more information"
“Let me just read one more book”
"I just don't feel ready yet"
At some point in your evolution you'll get sick of your own shit 👋🏼 💩
⭐️You'll realize how boring being afraid really is
⭐️You’ll realize that repeating the same patterns over and over again will always yield the same results
⭐️You’ll realize that nothing will change until you change
How do I know this? Because I AM YOU
I’ve been there, done that the last 10+ years of my life and WE👏🏼ARE👏🏼 OVER👏🏼 IT👏🏼
*whispers* Just a heads up....your fear will NEVER go away! Like everrrrrr 🤷🏻♀️
So what’s a dreamer to do?
It’s all about learning to dance with that fear and using it as your guide💃🏻
Seriously. Just put yourself out there already. We’re all waiting for you! ✨✨✨✨
But really...WHAT are you waiting for?! Tell me what’s stopping you from reaching your biggest, scariest most EXCITING vision below 👇🏼
3 Ways Chow Down at
Our Lunch 🥗 Meetings!!!
Yesterday and I talked about three ways to maximize our lunches as entrepreneurs! So today I want to discuss 3 healthy ways to chow down.
1. Always keep healthy snacks on us like nuts carrots 🥕 apples 🍏🍎 in a Ziploc bag so that way we don’t have to worry about eating chips and things that are not good for us.
2. Hydration, hydration, hydration - what can I say we can never get enough water 💦.
3. Lunch Meeting - if you are eating with a client or your team always remember to add some healthy choices to the restaurants round up.
🗣 Bonus 🗣 - if you are not drinking a Knouff water feel free to reach out to me I have found a water bottle that helps us remember to drink enough water during the day.
Let me know below what ways you stay healthy during your lunch?

This is a PSA: Planning is not my natural state 😤. ⠀⠀
But planning is a sure fire 🔥way to get results. It doesn't matter if you're planning your wedding or planning your social media. ⠀⠀
Without foresight, you gon' go crazy. Cause' life catches up to you. ⠀⠀
I love to create content in the moment when inspiration hits. But gotta be honest. That usually means inconsistency 🙈, and well... That doesn't really work when consistency is the path to connection and establishing trust with your clients/audience. (Plus, I'm sure every algorithm likes it for visibility 😉). ⠀⠀
After years of "winging it" 🤷♀️as a blogger and Youtube creator, I know all too well about the downfalls of not being prepared🤯😭. ⠀⠀
And while some periods of time, I really like to do a full unplug (like our recent trip to Cancun) I prepare ahead most of the time because it's how I save my sanity! I’ve talked about this before but I wanted to share with you the rough breakdown of how this looks for me.⠀⠀
1. I COLLECT IMAGES 📸⠀⠀
Whether it's text-images, iphone pics, stock images or from professional headshots, I collect 14 images that really fit with my brand-- making sure at least half are of me (if you don't get that, check out the @JennaKutcher's podcast on this topic 👌). ⠀⠀
2. I UPLOAD THEM TO PLANNER 📆⠀⠀
I upload them into Later (you can use Planoly or whatever else helps you map out the photos). I try to map out the content in a way that's visually appealing and balanced with some "white space". ⠀⠀
3. I BATCH WRITE CONTENT 👩💻⠀⠀
Then when inspiration strikes (or when I know for certain I gotta get er' done), I batch it. I write out 4-5 (or more) posts ahead of schedule and then I either manually go in and publish them in the moment or I set them up to auto-publish. ⠀⠀
THE MOST IMPORTANT PART, is sitting down, turning all distractions OFF 🤳 so that you can bust out the content goods with focus and flow.⠀⠀
⠀⠀ TRY this if you aren't a planner. Just ONE HOUR of batch writing. See what happens. Without any distractions, you might surprise yourself at what you produce!
I did something super uncomfortable last week and it got me thinking:
Why do we expect to work as if we're not also moms... and mom like we don't have jobs?! That's just bullsh*t and something I'm ready to change.
I'm a mom. And I work.
Sometimes I'm on a phone call with my kid around and bring her to networking events.
Some days I have to cancel recordings or meetings because she's sick and staying with me.
Last week, I recorded an episode of Goalden Girls Podcast even with Sonoma home.
I listened to it and you can hear her in the background (screaming for noodles, no less)... and I almost re-recorded it, totally freaked out.
A part of me is terrified you will hate it and leave mean reviews (hellooo inner critic!)... And the other part of me is like f*ck it! I'm doing it and leaving it the way it is.
Guess which voice I decided to listen to?
Listen to this week's podcast for a special Sonoma cameo (well, maybe a few). So here I am: telling you that you'll hear her on the episode and you can choose to listen or not.
I'd rather show the reality of what it's like to be a work-at-home mom than a fake Instagram version of it that you then try and emulate and feel like you fail at.
Friend, I'm determined to change the narrative that we have to keep work and home separate.
You are ONE person.
One person who is multi-faceted, multi-passionate and beautiful in all your ways.
And if you're a mom and frankly, anything else, that's a-freakin'-OK!
I hate the pressure we have as women to work as if we aren't moms and be the kind of moms that don't work.
So... it's scary. It's outside my comfort zone.
But now I'm a podcast host who sometimes has a toddler co-host.
When you listen to Episode 12 - The Truth About Big Dreams - you'll hear Sonoma there.
And perhaps that's the greatest message of all: Your big dreams?
They might look (or sound) different than you thought.
They WILL require you to get uncomfortable.
And done is better than perfect.
You can have it all - and you can be a mom and have your kids show up and the those who matter won't mind and those who mind don't matter. (Thanks Dr. Suess for that wisdom).

How cute is this grape agate that matches my hat& the circles under my eyes!!!
I’ve always been a pretty good sleeper but now that I’m deeper into my cultivation, I have trouble turning in.
Evenings are when I do my best work— creative, mental, spiritual. So it often feels like reversing a train to fall asleep.
I have lots of natural tools that make this easier, but man. Sometimes it just doesn’t work and I’m stuck staring at the ceiling wondering what Pip is dreaming about.
Can you relate? What do you do to help you fall asleep??
