My heart melts when I come across these old photos ❤️
When my old friend from high school came from Wales to visit, he brought us the Welsh flag 🏴❤️🏴 .
Days like today are incredible but I wish we didn’t need them!
I’ve worked alongside these guys on a job that I hope we never see in our life time. Over the last 18 hours these guys have increased the amount of oxygen that can be delivered to patients across a significant amount of our hospital! There’s a lot more work to be done in the next few days and weeks making this happen at other sites but I can honestly say I’m feeling all the emotions right now!
I’m proud of myself, I’m proud of our team and I’m proud of the NHS for what we’re achieving!
The NHS is filled with and supported by thousands of unsung heroes who are working day and night to help give patients the best possible care we can! It’s a scary time for everyone but it’s incredible the way it’s bringing people together to achieve things that we didn’t think possible only a few weeks ago!
We are hearing your concerns about how the community can help our students in this time of need! Thanks to a generous lead gift from Greenfield Savings Bank and donations from our faculty, staff, and community members - we are now able to provide direct support through a new COVID-19 Student Emergency Fund.
Student needs at this time are extensive with the added pressures placed on them from recent job loss, learning in a new online environment, homeschooling their children and financial burdens related to food and housing security. They need your help!
To contribute to this fund and change lives by helping GCC students complete their semester, DM us and we will send you the information.

We’ll post a work out challenge on s2squashonlineacademy for those who have already had a day off this week. And then, we’ll see everyone for Fitness Testing 3pm Saturday!

@hollyralfe (second from left) is my baby sister, I’ve always been proud of her and her achievements but in these recent times she has become one of my modern day hero’s. Everyday she goes to work to help other people and she comes home to her empty home sleeps and does it all again. All with a smile, kindness and great energy. I wish I could give you the biggest hug but I want her and all the internet to know how proud I am and above all else THANK YOU! @nhswebsite@hollyralfe you’re awesome! #sister#love#nhs#nhsrainbow#nurses#doctors#proud#thankyou
I know, I know, we’ve already said how much we miss you guys- but if you wouldn’t mind commenting and saying a quick hi and letting us know how you’re doing, we would love it! We, along with all of our staff miss the interactions with our guests so let’s interact here! Virtual hugs to you all-Ang, Mark and your entire BVR team #staysocial#virtualhug#seeyousoon#orangeville#proud#supportlocal
NYC 'Clap Because We Care'. Turn up the volume! The recognition of front line healthcare providers as I walk home from the physical therapy office tonight. It really solidifies why we chose this profession and I am glad ActiveCare Physical Therapy is still able to help our patients! #onenewyork#globalhealth#bestptnyc#gratitude#proud
I hopped on the bike today for the first time in 5 weeks and noticed I was about to take my 50th ride. 5 weeks ago, I had a very different idea of what my 50th ride would look. It would have been planned, intentionally hard, and madd to push me to a person best. I would finish drenched in sweat, feeling confident, strong and proud.
Today didn't look anything like I had envisioned. It was even better.
You see, it's been 5 weeks since I got sick and my lungs are still recovering. Today was the first day, with the help of meds, that I felt good enough to take an easy recovery ride. (In all honesty, I needed it more for my sanity than anything!)
I didn't break a sweat and a ride that would typically be a 2 out of 10 in difficulty was more challenging than I anticipated. 5 weeks ago, I would have been bummed that I couldn't do more and I would have felt defeated that something that should have been easy was hard. But do you see @robinnyc in this picture and that smile?! That is how I was feeling.
My lungs are working, my heart is working and my legs are working.
I ended my 50th ride feeling strong, confident, proud and GRATEFUL.
It's amazing what 5 challenging weeks can do for perspective. ❤

Of all the paths you take in life, make sure a few of them are dirt - John Muir
These moments are truly his ideal childhood. When it was time to come in, he sat in front of the door, flashed me that beautiful grin AND tried puppy dog eyes 😂

I see sweaty pictures like this one all the time with people saying that they used to quit.
They used to quit when it was hard.
They used to quit when they got tired.
They used to quit when the “I just started” excitement wears off.
And then they talk about how they don’t quit anymore. They see the value in sticking with it. They are so proud of how far they come.
Every time I see those posts I realize I have no idea what it’s like to quit on my fitness...because I never started.
I never tried going to the gym.
I never tried sports.
I never tried at home workouts.
I didn’t do anything until I did this. Then I fell in love.
I fell in love with exercise.
I fell in love with working up a sweat.
I fell in love with pushing myself.
I fell in love with endorphins.
I fell in love with a clear mind.
I fell in love with being strong.
I fell in love with confidence.
I fell in love with the energy.
And I never wanted to stop.
I had to start to get here though.
I had to put aside the thoughts that I couldn’t because I never had.
I had to ignore that voice telling me I couldn’t because I didn’t look like the fitness trainer.
I had to decide I didn’t care what people said about me doing something different.
I had to start.
It took bravery and determination. Not as much as you’d think though.
After years of looking in the mirror and hating what I saw, of feeling uncomfortable every day of my life, it was suddenly so simple to do something about it.
So I started.
And I’m never going to quit.
The news is OUT! 🎉 THIS Saturday, April 11 from 7-9pm CST, QueerBFF will be hosting a fundraiser on Instagram Live benefiting @thriveyouthcenter!
The event will be MC'd by @sander_54, star of I Am Jazz. The incredible @adavox, American Idol semi-finalist will be performing alongside comedians @justsydbw, @jakersnoll, and @calvinscato; drag performer @queendelighted; and @djjohnmichael, Associate Producer of Music Programming / DJ at Peloton.
Thrive Youth Center's mission is to provide a safe, effective, and supportive center for homeless LGBTQ+ youth, so they may become productive, skilled, educated, and successful adults with the ability, opportunity, and possibility of achieving their dreams.
Due to the current Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pandemic, many of Thrive’s clients have recently lost their jobs, as a result of staff reductions or business closures, and are now facing food insecurity. For those who have them, SNAP benefits, a monthly supplement for purchasing nutritious food, cover uncooked and unprepared food. However, Thrive’s young adults are also struggling to purchase hygiene products, paper products, and cleaning supplies.
The funds raised during our QueerBFF Insta-thon will help Thrive restock their food pantry and provide their young adults with food, hygiene, and home good items to get them through this challenging time.
