Today was picture day so I was hyping my babies (and coworker) up 🙌🏽 Then I went to take my picture and my kids started saying “ok Ms. Alicea!!! We see you!” “I see your hoops!” And all these other cute lil affirmations.
I try to speak life into my kids everyday, and when they put even a little ounce of effort to arreglarse, I’m gonna make sure I do that 🙌🏽 and if you can’t tell, words of affirmation is my second highest love language 🤣🙈
SMILE, BE HAPPY, BE GRATEFUL ~ 3 things I’ve been telling myself to do lately. •
📝 By the age of 30, I thought I would’ve accomplished a bit more. I wanted to buy a home, go back to graduate school, and find myself in a loving relationship. Although those things haven’t happened for me yet, doesn’t mean that they won’t. Ive learned to be Happy with where I’m at NOW. I have a roof over my head, a family that loves me, the best of friends anyone could ask for, good health, an education, and 2 jobs. Self Reflection is something we should all do. Once I took the time to think about what I’ve accomplished thus far in these past 29 years, I couldn’t help but feel grateful and blessed. I’m a firm believer that things will happen when they are meant to happen! 🙏🏽
To the ones I don’t see face to face , I hope to still be of a little inspiration ‼️ 😌💪🏾👏🏽✨
constantly reinvent yourself , challenge and push yourself , keep the fire lit within you & remain humble 🔥🤐✊🏽
ARISE! We cannot afford to spiritually fall asleep. The Apostle Paul knew that Christians are prone to live half-awake spiritually, like sleep walking or maybe waking up once in a while, then going back to slumber. He wrote with a passion, urging us to "understand the present time!" And Jesus said, "You also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him." Luke 12:40
Let us not attend church services or sing the Christmas songs without letting the truth of Christmas awaken our hearts. Let us keep our spiritual senses fully awake.
The glory of God
the second advent
the return of Jesus
is nearer with each day that passes.
This year we spent Thanksgiving in Puerto Rico.
And I absolutely loved it. Thank you @sanjuanmarriottresort for hosting our stay! I felt right at home @marriotthotels
