I’ve fallen off the bandwagon 🤪 I had every intention of waking up this morning and going on a run but I just wasn’t feeling it. There is always tomorrow and just because I take an extended break doesn’t mean that everything I’ve worked for is for nothing or that what I’ve built will disappear. This weekend I have a #runhouston#5k and I’m still very much looking forward to it. Today I need to focus on getting my mind right, hydrating and eating properly so that I can feel good enough to knock a run out this afternoon. I don’t feel defeated or upset about taking a week or so off which is odd because I’m a very by the book person when it comes to training plans. I think the mixture of starting a new job and having so much to learn coupled with building a house and selling a house has me feeling overwhelmed. Hey brain, maybe if you run that will relieve some stress 🤪 Happy Monday everyone, go out there and do your best 🥳🏆❤️
I’m not quick enough, I’m not as smart as Suzy, I’m not strong, I work 12 hrs, I wake up so dang early and just can’t, your making mistakes & it’s impossible. ARE ALL THINGS WE’VE EITHER HEARD FROM OTHERS OR HAVE TOLD OURSELVES!🤯 But why? Because we’ve been put or put ourselves in a mold. Others resist seeing us change. We ourselves resist change. But guess what?! Even tho it is tough as nails, it is possible to grow and become all the things we tell ourselves we can’t!!!!💯So Kat, tell me what do I need to do to overcome this doubt?
Even if you’re tired or feel lost, KEEP GOING! Don’t give up when it gets hard! This past summer I was on a 6hr hike and oh man I felt like I couldn’t continue.😣I was hurting and grumpy and hungry, but one foot in front of the other kept happening and I kept going. The truth is real relentlessness will really come out when that’s all you got left! When everything seems lost or zero hope or evidence of success has disappeared. Relentlessness will be the fuel that drives you to that goal!👏 Today GRIND IT OUT, STAKE YOUR CLAIM & HUSTLE FOR WHAT YOU WANT!✨
