“Watch and pray, dear, never get tired of trying, and never think it is impossible to conquer your fault.”
I love every movie adaptation of this book and am so excited for the new one. Fingers crossed it’s as good as I hope.

Last year we bought the girls a Barbie Power Wheels Jeep for Christmas. This year, we were inspired by some of our clients to step it up a notch and say- screw the kids... this one’s for us! Well that, and because we’ve been achin’ for an old truck for as long as Willy was knee high to a pig’s eye, as they say (felt fitting). Finally got ourselves a 74’ Ford f100. Figured she’d look so cute hauling all of our tables and chairs around on the property. Only thing cuter, would be if @madsfender was sitting shotgun! -
P.S. Let’s be honest, this one’s for the girls too. -
16+ months for one pay check.
Some call it crazy, but to us it a joy, a hardship, a challenge, a reward, and a lifestyle.
To us, it’s early mornings to saddle up and gather cattle. It’s doubtful moments, joyful moments, heart wrenching, physically and mentally draining moments, family moments, and moments filled with graduate.
It’s not just a job. It’s midwifin’ new life into the world, it’s watching the last breath, it’s family therapy to work cattle together, it’s miles of adventures, it’s beautifully draining and rewarding in the same moment.
It’s not for the faint of heart, it’s long days, it’s about to give up, but never do days. Its hard, yet the tiny moments throughout months makes us do it all over again.
It’s the business, the joy, the pain, the gift, of raising calves.
Here at A Nanny For U our owner @acitygirlgonecountry shows us all how to do Christmas right with this cozy fireplace and 12 feet tall Christmas tree. Out on the ranch they go big or go home when it comes to Christmas! 🎄
What about you? What does your Christmas tree look like this year? We want to know! What kind of tree are you and your kiddos putting up? ❤️
Whether your tree is 4 feet tall or 12 feet tall, we want to see it all. Because in the eyes of children, they are all 30 feet tall and filled with light and joy!✨ .

The block heater works. The snows melted on the hood! ❄🔥
Life can be hard. It can be chaotic. It can knock you down. It’s important to get back up again. Surround yourself with people and things you love. Don’t forget to take care of yourself, take time this holiday season to be with people who make you happy, or take some time to do something that brings you joy.
Fa mily dynamics are interesting to me. You take two individuals and mold them together. Most days are amazing, yet aren’t a walk in the park. Different upbringing can sometimes make it difficult to come to a middle ground. In our story we followed with the creation of a little lives. While I feel like they are all raised the same, it is interesting to see each individual take shape. They take bits and pieces of each of us, yet also create their own beliefs and values. While the story is unfolding before my eyes in this crazy life, I love the rare moments where I stop, take a look at these captured moments and smile.
