When it comes to paying your vendors, I really like @Divvy_HQ. Divvy gives your business a physical credit card backed up by MasterCard. But you also have virtual credit cards that are tied to the same account. In fact, that's one of the key features of Divvy: being able to set up virtual cards for one-off transactions or for recurring subscriptions, so that you keep all of those different vendors & subscriptions attached to a separate card number.
It's easy to justify everything when it's "for the business". Everything from shiny new equipment, down to snacks between customer meetings, can be justified as a necessary business expense; this is something that I fall prey to... but you need to manage those expenses. You need to do that within a controlled environment. Divvy allows you to create budgets for different functions within your company. So, I set up a marketing budget, a utilities budget, an online-subscriptions budget.
I attach different virtual cards to each of those budgets. That way, I make sure that, within each monthly period, I'm staying on those budgets. Divvy won't let a transaction through if that transaction causes me to go over-budget on one of those areas.
My favorite part of using Divvy is the budgeting feature. You can create category budgets or personal budgets. So, say you have a marketing team with three different members. You can create a marketing budget that resets to a certain amount monthly, then, you can allocate that budget to the team members as you see fit. That keeps you in control of who can spend how much on what.
I think that's a really great service. It's something that I use in my own business, with an employee of one.
I'm not doing a lot of approving transactions on the fly, happening somewhere else, but I am using the budgeting tools & the virtual cards in order to keep my business on track, in terms of managing its expenses, managing its money going out.

😂😂😂 good morning message BE YOURSELF you’ll attract the right energy & people acting as something else will bring you stuff you don’t want !!
I want to start out today by answering a questions that I’m constantly asked: Is now a good time to buy?
So, let me break it down because my answer varies depending on where you’re at!
For starters, interest rates are at historic lows which makes locking in a great rate on your mortgage super appealing - if you’re ready. It’s also important to be prepared before you dive into the process, especially with the lack of inventory we’re experiencing, so let’s chat! Here are a few questions I would consider before taking your next step!
• Do you know your current credit score and approximately what you’d be comfortable spending monthly (for mortgage & taxes)?
• Do you have an emergency fund (this will be essential to make sure you’re prepared for home maintenance, repairs and other costs of homeownership)?
• Are you currently renting? If you answered yes, do you know if the terms of your lease are flexible (do they offer month to month or allow you to sublet if you find a home prior to your lease being up)?
• Are you prepared for the expenses associated with the home buying process? (Home inspection, appraisal, closing costs, down payment, due diligence and earnest money deposit)
• Have you spoken to a lender to determine if you qualify for any down payment assistance programs? If the answer is no, don’t worry - I’m happy to help connect you!
If you want to talk about these questions more in depth and what specific costs you should be prepared for, I’m only a zoom call away! Send me a DM and let’s get your virtual buyer consultation on the books!
It is nearly impossible to fail when you’re surrounded by winners.
