In case no one knew, Finn was part of a rescue siege from California along with a bunch of other dogs. When we first got him, his coat was damaged and sun bleached, and he was thin even for a husky. He also came with bad habits, like a lot of shelter dogs tend to. It seemed as though he never had socialization because the boy would be sweet one moment, then aggressively attacking you the next. He also had severe food aggressive and resource guarding issues that were so excessive you couldn’t be around him when he had anything in his possession he felt was his. This was the first three months of dealing with Finn. He bit and snapped at us so many times that I started wondering if his cute face made up for it.
However in the end, with consistency, it totally was. Now he’s sweetest monster ever. He’s also super tolerant of our shenanigans.
