Sage can slow loss of short-term memory by preventing the breakdown of the chemical messenger acetylcholine in the brain and blocking an enzyme called AChE that is associated with memory loss and seems to play a role in Alzheimer's and possibly other degenerative brain disease. It does so without disrupting other brain activity or damaging the liver. ⠀

A CLOSED MINDSET is one that is completely understandable for many reasons| is also a cause for feeling anxious & doesn't help you in your future. So how can you change that? 👇

A closed mindset can be caused by past experiences that were tough to navigate with little or no outside help from others, by leanrt negative perceptions, beliefs, ideas. Etc.
👉Maybe your peers didn't know how to navigate their emotions healthily- so you had no good example to learn from. * not about blaming them, they did not know what we know, only about acknowledging why*
👉Maybe you perceived a situation to be all your fault, because you only had little of no facts of the situation - you guessed with what you had.
👉Maybe a tough situation happened far too many times before with other people. - now you believe this is a certainty it will happen again, no trust in others.
👉Maybe this is all new, you've never had an example, so the uncertainty is causing you to believe you can not - you've never proved to yourself you can.
There are so many understandable reasons why a closed mindset is causing you negative throughts & negative feelings like anxiety, it's what's driving your train but it doesn't mean you can't switch drivers.

👉Understanding that you CAN change your mindset- the past one was learnt from your environment & perceptions, so that means you can learn another.

If you got out of bed this morning to face your anxiety and fear you are a warrior!
Think about how resilient and strong you have become!
It may not seem like you are strong but always remember people with anxiety are some of the strongest!
I have a bad habit of just working nonstop and saying no to plans in fear of time being lost where I could’ve been productive. I’ve always tried to make excuses for this being ok and how I’m ahead of the game. This hurts you and keeps you stagnant. It will definitely lead to burnout every time. You NEED fun time! Time to clear your head and refresh yourself.
Learning how to schedule fun back into my life. 🍕🍷

Tvárovú jogu som začala cvičiť najmä kvôli vráskam okolo očí. Tie som pozorovala tak najviac. Mám veľmi tenkú pokožku a takmer žiadny tuk na tvári, preto sú všetky nedokonalosti na mojej pleti hneď vidieť.
Až časom som si uvedomila, že som mala aj ochabnuté očné viečka, čo môžete vidieť na fotke vľavo. Vďaka tvárovej jóge sa mi oči “otvorili” a očné viečka spolu s obočím sa pozdvihli.
Tvárová joga mi však dala oveľa viac. Nie je to len cvičenie samotné, je to životný štýl, ktorý ma baví, čím ďalej tým viac. Je to cesta, ako sa cítiť a vyzerať lepšie v každom veku. Byť tou najlepšou verziou samej seba bez ohľadu na to, koľko rokov pŕave máte.
I started doing faca yoga mainly because of wrinkles around my eyes. It was my biggest concern. My skin is very thin with almost no fat, so all the imperfections can be seen very easily on my face.
Just later I have realized that my eyelids were droopy which you can see on the picture on the left. Thanks to face yoga my eyes are more open and my eyelids together with the eyebrows lifted.
But face yoga is not only about the face exercise. It gives me much more. It’s a lifestyle which I enjoy more and more. It ’s a way how to feel and look better in every age. How to be the best version of yourself regardless how old are you. -
