Day 20 I have a dream #rebelsunitedjan2020potd
There was a dream and one day I could see it
Like a bird in a cage I broke in
And demanded that somebody free it
And there was a kid with a head full of doubt
So I'll scream 'til I die
And the last of those bad thoughts are finally out
There's a darkness upon you that's flooded in light
And in the fine print They tell you what's wrong and what's right
And it flies by day and it flies by night
And I'm frightened by those who don't see it

What were to be my final shots of the day were at a pinpoint I had set on a rooftop among the trees I spotted in Google Maps earlier in the week while planning my routes.
I knew it was going to be off the road a bit but the GPS took me right to it, upon turning around I noticed just around the bend a group of neighbors were target practicing shotguns in the general direction. My approach was from the opposite side of the house and about 200 yards away so I decided to go for it.
The vines and undergrowth were so thick it was like the earth had swallowed this place up so that noone could ever see it again. I fought and tunneled my way through and snapped a couple pictures and made it back to the car before the target practice resumed!
I would have loved to have had more time here because this place was gargantuan and I was only able to get one side.

Soaking up this season we are in, but there’s a big part of me that cannot wait to see Scout this spring... barefoot, dirty and running with a chicken under each arm.
