Han transcurrido apenas 5 meses desde que nació el proyecto #ElevenHost . Puede parecer poco tiempo, y realmente lo es, pero en estos meses hemos alcanzado varias metas propuestas antes de nuestra fecha límite para cumplirlas.
¿Cómo lo hemos logrado? Afianzandonos en otros emprendedores, que al igual que nosotros, se arriesgaron, y siendo sinceros con lo que podemos ofrecer a nuestros propietarios y huéspedes.
Aún nos falta un montón por aprender, pero en el camino, somos conscientes de los errores y tratamos de salir al paso antes de que se nos venga encima. Lo importante es reconocerlos y continuar. Mientras tanto seguimos apostando por nuestro modelo de negocio y creciendo junto a los que decidieron unirse para darle forma a este sueño.

When it comes to decoration of the rental apartment, of course budget plays an important role in decisions making, as obviously I would prefer to spend as less as I could. So here is how I make my creative hands busy, making a lot of DIY things.
This is our apartment. #Vanlife is only part time for us these days. We've still got our adventuremobile, of course, but we now wake up in a one bedroom apartment here in #Vancouver . Not gonna lie, having a sink, running water and toilet is pretty glorious. Anyway, when we showed up in Van, all we had was what we'd lived with while on the road... which is to say, not very much. Since December, we've slowly been furnishing our place using Craigslist's free section. That headboard behind me? Free. Those lamps? Free. Mattress and box spring? Free. The dressers? Yup, free. And since we're in a rental, that means getting creative with temporary decor solutions (can't just up and paint the cabinets like I did in our van!), too, so I was super stoked to install this flamingo wallpaper by @tempaper_designs. It goes up easily and peels off when we're ready to move out and start our next adventure. Home is where you park it, and I've got my butt parked right here on this cozy bed.

sometimes you’re SO close to finishing a project & “disaster” (yes, i realize this sounds dramatic 🙄) strikes — in this case, my client’s bathroom flooded repeatedly + her building management refused to take care of the problem, so she was forced to move ☹️ while i’m sad we’ll never get to complete, style or shoot this particular apartment, it’s been a lot of fun turning a basic new dev rental into a quirky, moody, considered space with tons of texture & a great high/low mix! peep my stories as i say au revoir to my fav Chelsea rental 👋🏽

We're thrilled to share our newest project, #CBDxBoerumHillDuplexRental — a two-story family rental in a sunny Brooklyn brownstone. The client's design aesthetic was Scandinavian and minimalist, with a fondness for a playful mix of colors and patterns, like those found in textiles by #joseffrank for @svenskttenn. Because it's a rental, we were met with a few lease challenges -- including the requirement to cover-up 80% of the floors on this level. (The landlord lives directly below them!) In order to navigate the L-shape of the space and ensure visual continuity, we ordered two custom area rugs in the same durable wool from @curran_official.

Murphy beds aren’t usually known for being particularly attractive or design forward. Not this Murphy bed! By treating the inside like a room with building-in wall sconces and adding a sunset inspired accent color 🌅, it elevated this Murphy bed from the mere practical to a warm welcoming hideaway bedroom that anyone would want to cozy up in after a long day 👉link in bio to 🎥 of how I built the whole thing.
