This was another piece I refinished. We had gone to a marina auction because the boys were interested in the fishing stuff and they had been using this table in the shop. It had an ugly and worn arborite top that I planned to replace. I got it for $10.
The first 2 pictures are NOT stock but they are for inspiration for your garden space! (Taken from Pinterest). So while we have lots of pots, planters, and bird baths arriving soon, we also have furniture that the more adventurous creative folks can transform to suit any size of outdoor space...something to look forward to! Start planning ❣️we look forward to seeing you again when we can reopen safely - follow our Facebook page too #creativegardens#smallspaces#getcreative#trilogyemporium#upcycle#repurposedfurniture#repurpose#repurposed
Vintage thin, abstract printed unisex shirt. This unique design definitely bringing that 90’s vibe back to summer 20! Can be worn from the beach to the club, and still gather all the looks.
Pocket detail to front left hand side with button closure.
Detail shots - what a transformation! Do you recognise it @on_the_square_emporium_ ? 1950s RGD:
Chipped paint and veneer removed
Sanded and oiled to a beautiful tactile finish
Fabric replaced with a smart new maroon speaker cloth
Internals (and shovels of dust!) replaced with top-of-the-range Bluetooth amp and new speaker
3.5mm aux in
Powerbrick - mains supply
Original badge and dial retained
In this frame it’s all about things #repurposed .
From the last hide of transparent leather we could find creating these unique pieces, to this leaf’s last moment to shine, and the broken glass.
Embracing the beauty of the imperfect. 🖤
I love making tools from found treasure & nature so yesterday I spent half an hour foraging in my garden for some supplies that I thought might make interesting mark making “brushes”. Then another hour was spent, sat in the glorious sunshine (of course with my SPF50+ and my hat firmly placed) making some simple tools using cotton thread & masking tape & twigs as my handles ☺️ I love the little one at the very front- he’s my favourite! And those old dried bamboo (?) leaves already look like brushes so they could be a lot of fun to experiment with! I’m looking forward to having a play with these later, should I be able to tear myself away from my knitting & my book! 😂 Trouble is, when the weather is so beautiful I don’t want to be sat inside! Anyway, watch this space- I may report back if I get any interesting results! Happy Easter my little bun buns 🐰🐰 I hope you’re all staying safe & staying at home! 💖🙏🏼 #mykatcave#markmaking#foraging#repurposed#brushes#paintbrushes#foundinnature#markmakingtools#mixedmedia#mixedmediaart#arttherapy
Do you live in south east london and have 👉access to a sewing machine
👉or unwanted bed linnen or cotton t shirts or spare HEPA vacuum bag or coffee filters?
I'm not planning on robbing a bank. I spent yesterday sewing masks for a brilliant initiative set up by corinne and ben @atomdesignslondon
They are using their beautiful printed fabrics and have enough to make 1500 currently. But they desperately need the additional materials and an army sewers to help make them so that they can be given away to extraordinary workers who are working heroically and facing the public while putting their own lives at risk.... Driving busses, working supermarkets, teaching, caring for the vulnerable or many more previously unsung heroes.
9 bus drivers have tragically died and the situation is set to get worse. They do not have PPE and any measures to mitigate risk are desperately sought by the drivers to make them feel safer. This week alone New Cross and Greenwhich station requested 700 of these masks which we are now trying to fulfil. They need support to make it happen.
If you think you can help or contribute in any way please DM me.

I had a old blazer of my dad's that I took when he passed away. I actually looked up and said "Dad, since you don't need this I'm having it!" SAVAGE❗
I'm totally loving this Flip and can't wait to rock my Dad's Old Blazer 🤗 as a New Fab Suit.
What do you guys think❓
Ps... Light a Candle and Raise a Glass for my Dad on his Birthday as well as one for everyone your missing and can be with at this time... Happy Easter💐

Custom made using the customers old sentimental ukulele. Nice that it can be enjoyed in a different way now instead of getting dusty in a cupboard.
Do you have something laying around that you want to make better use of? Send me a message 💡
Stack of rough turned oak and sweet gum bowls that are left to dry. All 3 of these tree’s came from the Remleys point neighborhood. I still have a handful of logs to cut up into some bowl blanks-should be a fun weekend!
I originally starting this caption saying I was “walking in to Wednesday....” and then I had to think about that for a second and realized it was Thursday 😂 🤦🏻♀️ So I guess my new “goal” going forward is try to remember what day it is...I aim big y’all, don’t even try to keep up with me 🤣 Well, that and finally making the new light fixtures to replace those boob lights. I’ll get to it ..one of these days. Are you keeping your to do lists/goals easy these days?

The anchor table prototype is almost finished. I decided to put a glass top on it with a spruce frame. I’d call it a console table, about 2’x4’. Would make a nice display table in a retail business. Available for sale. I haven’t fixed a price to this one yet. #VikingBuilt#reclaimedwood#reclaimedmetal#CommercialFishing
