I take a 5-step marketing approach when on-boarding a new advisor relationship. In addition to M&O Marketing’s pillar method.
To simplify a growth model-I look at that advisors unique value proposition, let’s define & package that. We look at any prospecting method, track the numbers. Then scale it-master one funnel at a time before adding another.
Maximize by capitalizing on remarketing to current clients, suspects, and prospects.
It’s amazing what we are not told in life and the Rule of 55 is no exception. Most people have a 401K and probably think it cannot be touched until the retirement age of 62-65, however the age that you can withdraw without penalty is 59.5. BUT WAIT! There is yet another rule, the Rule of 55 says you can withdraw penalty free from 55-59.5 as long as you quit, get fired, or laid off at least by the age of 55. So basically the retirement age is 55 and not 59.5. Obviously whether you choose to retire at 55 vs 59.5, you will be working until then so why is that not already understood?
Anyway, so if you have a 401K or a 403B then you can retire at 55 and use your money from these accounts penalty free as long as you work at your company until at least the age of 55. Not to blow your mind more but there are also similar rules with IRAs but would have to take consistent contributions.
Question to everyone, have you heard of The Rule of 55? Does this give you a little more hope to retiring earlier?

This month I have a fair amount of debt on my credit card 🤦♂️ tyre blew out and added that on. It's so annoying when this happens. But payday is tomorrow and I can pay it all off and save up money again.
With the house I have now instructed the solicitor to start the searches, so it's all green lights from here.

The illustration below by John Bogle states that 80% of your investment return goes to your Financial Advisors (agent & company). “A $1,000, invested at age 20 until age 85, assuming an 8 percent return each year, nets the investor $160,682 after 65 years.
But subtracting a 2.5 percent cost of investing each year, the return shrinks to $34,250.” That’s $126,432 in financial planning cost.
Make sure your financial advisor is worth every dollar.

FIVE REASONS WHY A PENSION TRANSFER MIGHT BE SUITABLE!
1. Flexibility – instead of taking a set pension on a set date, you have much more choice about how and when you take your pension.
2. Tax-free cash – some DB pension schemes may offer a poor deal if you want to convert part of your DB pension into a tax-free lump sum.
3. Inheritance – generous tax rules mean that if you leave behind money in a Defined Contribution (DC) pension pot, it can be passed on with a favourable tax treatment.
4. Health – those who live the longest get the most out of a DB pension, but those who expect to have a shorter life expectancy might do better to transfer if this means there is a balance left in their pension fund when they die, which can be passed on.
5. Employer solvency – while most pensions will be paid in full, every year some sponsoring employers go bankrupt. If the DB pension scheme goes into the Pension Protection Fund (PPF), you could lose 10% if you are under pension age, and may get lower annual increases; if you have transferred out, you are not affected.

Nak berkongsi cerita hari ini pada rakan2. Alhamdulillah Abah saya selamat menjalani surgery rectum kanser 2 hari lepas dan emak baru selesai surgery mata or now we call 'lasik' d private hospital pj. Sepanjang saya drive balik, emak teruja baca semua no plate kereta yang lalu depan mata, cute kan.
Surgery kedua belah mata emak RM4,510. Alhamdulillah, 2 jam dah balik & berehat di rumah.
Bulan depan lutut emak pula.. & by that time abah dah keluar hospital. Both dlm usia 70. Alhamdulillah they have their retirement plan of course supported too by kami anak beranak.
RM 50 sebulan, or 100, 500.. ikut target nak berapa..
Persaraan anda tanggungjawab anda.. nak 1 juta or 70,000++ pilihan anda.

Yesterday when I browsed through Singapore 2020 Budget. One point that really catches my attention is as we can see from the post above. Think about that for a second, what can we learn from that and what can we do for ourself? .
What if the Government do not accumulate the surplus during the good time, what will happen now? Maybe need to withdraw from the national reserve or borrow from other countries so that they can do the necessary for the country
Here my view, it is always good to SAVE and INVEST NOW for future rainy day. When you have surplus in your bank account, invest and save wisely in the correct financial instruments that can be used when you need the MOST. Or you see your bank account depleted quickly. The choice is on hand .

Talk about eye-opener when it comes to longevity! The reality is we live in a world where people are living longer, especially women.
And according to CNBC, only about 6 out of 10 women have a plan to protect them from outliving their savings. For men, 3 out of 4 have a plan.*
Did that second graphic surprise anyone? Does it make you think a little harder about your plan and whether you will outlive your savings or not?

NGO’s include many groups and institutions which are wholly or largely independent of government and which have mainly humanitarian or cooperative rather than commercial objectives.
eXp Realty sent me this beautiful award in the mail yesterday. Trophies are exciting and they make you feel great about your achievements BUT this one really means a lot to me. I’ve been with the company now for 7 months and I’ve sold enough real estate where the company has refunded me my $16,000 back in EXPI stocks which is publicly traded on the NASDAQ! Everyone has this amazing opportunity. You can also get stocks when you reach other milestones. Only 7 months in and over $18,000 now in retirement. Wish I started sooner!! Are you accumulating retirement paid for by your brokerage? .
My wife surprised me with a gift today.... this year I’ve celebrated 10 years at #edwardjones , I am renovating and expanding my office, I’ve moved levels, and I’ve been asked to take on an area leader role... so to say it’s been a busy year is an understatement! I’m truly blessed to love what I do, and I can’t wait to hang this in my newly renovated/ expanded office in a few weeks! #investments#retirementplanning#awesomegift

As this year comes to an end, I’ve been thinking about how much I’ve grown and how excited I am for the the future. 2019 was the year of change and getting uncomfortable. I turn 27 next year and sometimes I still can’t believe that this is my life. After I graduated high school, I didn’t think there would be much of a future for me. Just a few years later, I’m debt-free (paid off $40,000 in student loans and car loans), maxing out my retirement accounts, and running a six-figure business from home. I work less than 20 hours a week most of the time and I get to spend my time doing what I love - cooking, crocheting, and reading. Life is so good.
