Featured in this months @houseandgarden magazine is our recently completed #bluebay project.
This round solid timber dining table in a lime washed finish along with sage leather upholstered Louis dining chairs hand finished in white and gold sits comfortably in the centre of the main living area, anchored by the brass and textured glass chandelier.
When we tell our friends we usually book our next airbnb/hotel stay maybe 1 or 2 days in advance, they gasp in horror. Sure, a lot of the best places are already booked by that point. But a lot of times, places remain vacant, and their prices drop drastically. Take this place in Penang, for example. It is priced at $120 per night, sleeps 8 people with 2 bathrooms, rooftop pool, gym, etc. But booking last minute, we secured the place for just $42 per night - a total steal for backpackers like us! Giant windows, sea views, and super modern furnishing are always a plus, especially on a budget trip, and especially when it leaves us more $$ to spend on food 😍
"Fashion you can buy, but style you possess. The key to style is learning who you are, which takes years. There's no how-to road map to style. It's about self expression and, above all, attitude." —Iris Apfel

🏙 #essepe#011#SãoPaulo466anos#SP466#Estaiada#roomwithaview
Is the cold more of your mojo? Then we have the perfect place for you! Located in the snowy slopes of Austria, this stay is a winter lover's paradise. Enjoy the snowy view from an outdoor jacuzzi, and embrace the winter sports! ❄
It’s been a really busy day and the house is looking great. The flowers look beautiful and the back yard is almost perfect.
After the event tomorrow, we are having family stay for dinner. Today we made five pans of lasagna (one was gluten free). Of course I had to make homemade pasta. That’s the only kind of pasta that we eat around here. Right?
I took this photo today as I was moving a few things around. The days are getting longer and I love capturing the light.
I hope you are having a lovely weekend.
