Road life 🚎💨💨 It’s not always sunsets and epic campsites. Sometimes, it’s the stress of climbing those big mountains. Hauling your house and all of your belongings for seven people around harrowing turns on the edge of a mountain cliff. Making sure things don’t fall off counters. An engine that overheats. Mechanical problems. Trying to figure out what the heck is the problem, and doing so on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere. Having no cell reception in case something does go wrong. Someone having a tough transition day when we don't have a choice but to load up and move on. Balancing full-time work in between adventures and all the driving. Balancing kids and life and needs for the whole fam while traveling. A baby’s nap that gets interrupted because we have to stop suddenly 😩 Grey water backing up in our shower when we have been off grid too many days. Not enough power or solar or heat or water. Lugging buckets of water or sewer, ewww. And, ohhhh so many other things we juggle, including doing this with five kids of varying ages! But, even though some days are hard. Like hard hard hard. It’s ALL worth it 💙 Life is like the mountains we climb. There are summits and valleys, amazing warm sunsets and intense cold wind. Hard hills to traverse and smooth roads to coast down. It makes you appreciate it all and we are ever so grateful for the learning that comes with every turn 💫 Because we wouldn’t be where we are now without the journey of where we have been. And, the roads always lead us to where we are supposed to be. As long as we are doing it with our family by our side and love in our hearts, to experience this amazingly beautiful planet, it’s all all all worth it ✨🌎🙏🏽🚎💫🏔💙 #lifeontheroad#roadlife#rvlife#buslife#fulltimefamilies#moderndaynomads#reflections#breathingitallin#lovingitallup#travelfamily#adventurefamily#alaskahighway#ecowombgoestoalaska#ecowombgoestocanada
You don’t have to go far to get away. Some of our best getaways are the ones closest to home. We like to hook up a trailer and head to the mountains.
All you locals ...take advantage of the beautiful Wasatch Mountains. And all you visiting Utah... make sure to put Wasatch Mountains on your MUST see list! ⛰ 🏔

This video is all about reviewing our RAM 2500 and all the towing/off road modifications we have done to it. This is our version of a Power Wagon/AEV Prospector/Tow rig.
Now that we have owned our RAM 2500 Cummins turbo diesel for almost 4 years we though it would be a great time to review it and show everyone our towing and off road setup. Plus we have been getting many questions, we thought it would be great to put all of the information into one place. This truck build is all about compromise and getting the best of both worlds, towing and great off road performance. Our truck has gone through many phases and with almost 75k on the odometer it has seen all different types of terrain. We share our reasons for choosing a RAM 2500 over a Power Wagon or AEV Prospector. Hope you enjoy the video, don't forget to SUBSCRIBE!
Addy’s 13th birthday is on the 27th but some of our friends won’t be with us, so we decided to throw a party for her today instead. It was a surprise party and she was surprised!!! I love these pictures because she looks so happy. I hope she felt special and loved. Because she is.
We have some amazing friends and it was a wonderful reminder of that today. Everyone rushed to set things up while Addy was occupied. When she came rolling up, everyone was so energetic and happy to surprises her.
Seriously, we are blessed.
This road life could be lonely. It could leave us missing what we left behind. It could even make us wonder why we decided to take this journey. Friends make all the difference. Friends, make you feel loved. Friends, make it exciting! Seriously so grateful for our road family today!
Happy Fat Tuesday! Celebrating our first Mardi Gras in the city it all began was an amazing experience!!! So much fun! Isla and Gray had a blast catching the gigantic amount of toys, candy, and food thrown at us! Hazel clenched onto me and freaked out every time stuff was flung her way! The best advice was to bring bags to carry all of our prizes and to NOT look away as a float goes by! I was amazed by how friendly everyone was around us! Another mom helping Isla get a hoopla hoop, a dad who was born in raised in Mobile bringing over every stuffed animal he caught and everyone working together to make the night special for all the kids around us! My cheeks truly hurt from laughing so hard! If you have never been to a Mardi Gras parade it is NOT the drunken half naked party you expect...it’s pure happiness and excitement! Our favorite throws were an Alabama elephant, a stuffed hedgehog and ramen noodles! What was your most interesting throw you caught??
The @thelonghaulfamily have had an eventful couple of days. We managed to make it from Sedona to Flagstaff. Flagstaff was not the intended destination.
On the climb from Sedona to Flagstaff the truck decided it had had enough and went into limp mode. We were able to go a blistering 25 MPH for the last half of the climb. We made a lot of people very unhappy by going so sure, but we managed to make it to town and get a reservation at a campground.
At first I thought the turbo had gone out. So visions of 💸💸💸🤑 went through my head. After checking the engine code it didn't have anything to do with the turbo, so that was a relief. The next day we took it in and they checked all the hoses and checked for cracks, but they found nothing. The code was for an airflow issue, but no issue was found 🤷♂️. So good news it wasn't expensive, bad news we don't know what happened 🤦♂️🤬.
Next day, we leave the campground, truck running like a champ and I notice the trailer is going cockeyed down the road again. We had the same issue a couple months ago. I pull over into a parking lot. Another broken leaf spring hanger. 🤬
We start making calls and find someone who can get us in. They are able to get a 'fix' done so we can leave, but we are going to be doing some heavy reinforcements in the near future.
By the way, we managed to escape Flagstaff and made it to our planned destination two days later than planned.
Night #5 as full-time RVers! We are constantly learning new lessons, and the pros and cons of living in a pop-up camper. Today we set up some stacking shelves to help with the limited countertop space. My 17 year old made sure to stock us up with an emergency junk food stash (ok, the little chocolate donuts were my idea). The pups got new toys and quickly wore them in. Tomorrow my goal is to figure out where to put our clothes.
The definite pros so far are the beautiful afternoon breezes and the closeness with my family. The cons are the biting cold and dripping condensation overnight, and the closeness with my family. 😆
@rvonthewayside recently had an accident in their RV while traveling through Tuscon. They are currently awaiting repairs and I am amazed at their positive outlook through such a traumatic experience. Go show them some love - visit their profile and subscribe to their YouTube channel! Thanks!

Did you know I used to teach group fitness classes at gyms?⠀
I paid HELLA money for my certifications to get paid $10 an hour…yup…Mcdonalds employees make more money an hour that I do (no hate, I’m a fellow medics past employee). I also taught at insane hours 5am workout class? I’m your girl. Rushing after school & work to teach more classes at night? Yup that’s me. Also I didn’t get paid for the setup/teardown time or the time I spent giving advice to the people in my class.⠀
But I will say I THRIVED in the group exercise classes. I loved it with every ounce of my being. I got to know my regulars & their lives. I felt like I had my own little family. It was my mission to make every person in the class (college kids to 70 year olds) feel like a total badass. My class was all about empowerment at any size & I am so thankful for what my time teaching taught me.⠀
But it wasn’t sustainable. $10 an hour? Teaching maybe 4 classes a day? HELLL NO. I see a lot of people giving online coaches a lot of flack or others spending soooo much money on certifications. The truth is you can’t make money & keep your sanity while teaching classes at a gym 🤷🏻♀️⠀
Now I can travel wherever the road takes me & as long as I have a decent LTE signal, I’m golden. I can pour into others from all around the world from the comfort of my little trailer without missing out on the community I LOVED from my classes. That’s the freedom I needed. If you have questions about coaching, send me a message - I’m an open, No BS-ing book 🙌🏻
I had the best time playing tonight with my friends 🎸 🎤 How are you guys? What are you up to on a TUESDAY?! 🤍🥰🤍

So... we did a thing 🚌🏠
Trevor and I have been wanting to travel and film full-time for a while now. We’ve made the conscious effort to downsize and live more minimally. YES, that means not being so materialistic and buying everything I fall in love with. 🤦♀️ We finally pulled the trigger after we found our dream camper. Stay tuned for lots of renovation updates!
PS. full video is on our YouTube channel 🖤
And now he wants to have his own camper just like uncle @dangomez7 ♥️
E é claro que agora ele quer morar em um trailer também, como o titio Dan!

Hello all my fellow full timers 👋🏼 I’m Katy. I’m almost 3 months in to this full time RV life. Living stationary but envious of all you nomads exploring the country. Maybe some day I will buy a truck and take off to the mountains 🏔. I’m putting my youngest through college, paying off debt, and looking for property to build on. Renovating my 2015 Jayco Jayflight and learning as I go thanks to the inspiration I get from all of you. I look forward to connecting! «» #rvlife#tinyhomeonwheels#rvrenovation#rvliving#camperlife#camperremodel#rvfixerupper#emptynesterlife

I have to shout out my main squeeze for being keeping it together for our family the last couple days. If you’re a mama, you probably completely understand the breath taking need to make sure our kids are safe and ok. When that’s out of our control, it feels unbearable. Brentt kept reminding me that everything will be ok and to just trust God. I am so grateful for this man in my life and I couldn’t do it without him. @brentt31 Thank you for being my person and my best friend😘•
#Shiplap is up on the back wall, back two ceiling and wall panels are up, and lights are back in! Time for more paint. 😁

To us, it’s about more than owning less. It’s about more than living tiny.
When we decided to downsize and move into a home with less than 300 sq ft, it was about more than getting rid of things and becoming a minimalist. This was a decision we made on our pursuit of happiness. This was about changing our lifestyle and 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐣𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐲.
This journey has taught us to recognize a need vs a want. We are constantly making sure everything has a purpose and/or brings us happiness. It’s been about 𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫 whether it’s in our life or it’s an object, and turning our focus to what really matters.
Money + things will always be there, but time + health won’t. We see this repeatedly in our profession and it’s helped push us towards the life we are blessed to be living. We didn’t want to wait until later because sadly, we’re not promised another day. If there’s something you really want to do and are capable of it, chase it.
T-minus 1 week.😭We are soaking up every last minute here. Our first home on wheels. It has been to almost 20 different states! The place we brought Helen home to. The place we renovated with blood, sweat and tears. The place we have shared with so many friends and family. It has been our home the last 2 years and it has been so good to us. We’re going to miss it but I know the new owners are going to love their time in it just as much as have🥰. I’m trying to save all my tears for when we drive away. 😅•
This bunkhouse by @the.wandering.watsons is so precious. Simple, yet beautiful. We can’t wait to find a project that we can build a bunkhouse in. Especially once we meet our goal in a few years of going #fulltimerv Great Job on this remodel! .
Apparently it was National Love Your Pet Day yesterday, so here’s a picture of Señor Bowie looking super chill even though he’s the complete opposite. Kidding 😏 We love this little rascal and are so grateful for all the JOY and laughter he’s brought into our lives.

Guys.... we’ve been keeping a pretty big secret from you.
As you may or may have not noticed we’re so in love with Todos Santos - we love it here so much that we have decided to make this place our permanent HOME!!!! Our very loose plan when we first set out to live and travel full time in Dita (our RV) was to travel for awhile and find a place to invest in some form of real estate or property. We neverrrr thought it would be here in Mexico but we deeply feel we have found the right place.
The property we have just purchased has three little casitas which we will rent out, Airbnb, etc... the plan is to create a place for relaxation, inspiration and a chance to experience this Pueblo Magico (think @thejoshuatreehouse meets the ocean) We are still going to be full time RVers and live in Dita on the property as well as travel, mainly throughout Baja and a few parts of the US. We also plan to open our photography studio / gallery here.
We would like to invite everyone to experience the magic that we feel everyday we are here, to discover Todos Santos, a beautiful desert oasis bordered by the Pacific Ocean. The property officially becomes ours mid April. Stay tuned and can’t wait to share more!
Ps. To our families, we are so grateful for the encouragement and support. We love you.
