Last week, one of our best friends came to visit us. We had a jam-packed weekend where we saw beautiful sunsets, wild beaches, crystal clear springs, and lots of critters including manatees, turtles, conchs, and all the birds. The best might have been the great horned owl. ⠀
Here are a few photos from our kayak run on Weeki Wachee River. It's easily one of the most scenic paddles we've ever done. For 7 miles, you paddle atop crystal clear waters. We went on a cold weekday, so we mostly had the river to ourselves. Except for when we had to share it with some manatees! It was pretty special, and we're glad that we got to share it with Sonia. Here's a bunch of photos of these turquoise waters :)⠀

The plan had been to head north towards southern Utah for some exploring and snow. First stop was the Sedona area. Since school takes up a lot of time, I thought I’d check out a RV park to make life easier (no scouting and easier to show up after dark). We stayed for a week and a half here. Although it was a very nice spot, and we were literally the first people to stay in this brand new section, it just never really felt like home and we greatly missed boondocking. Spending countless hours in the RV working and then studying also prevented us from getting out and exploring as much as I like. We started getting restless. We stayed home a lot. And it got lonely. I’ve learned what makes going off alone the most fun is exploring new places, pushing myself outside my comfort zone, and checking things off my bucket list. Staying home in the RV all alone is very tough.
The best part about this lifestyle is you can change course extremely quickly. So we are heading back south towards friends and can’t wait!
The practice of SELF LOVE can often times be pretty scary...
I know for me, the first time I had to put money down on myself-
Like INVEST in myself...
I was scared shitless!
Would it work?
Would it be worth it?
It was the first time I EVER did anything for myself...
And it was for my health.
I’d heard about these virtual accountability groups for women & met a girl online who hosted those groups...
She invited me!
& as much as my skin crawled at the thought of buying myself something...with 3 digits😅😅
I knew that it could absolutely change my health journey.
And if THAT happened, it would definitely be worth those three digits-if not more....
& so began the start of this self love journey.❤️
Now here I am years later, paying for something else- that again makes me want to throw up a little bit inside, (check my stories if you wanna know what)
Still hesitant with the millions of questions,
But I tell myself. #1 YOU are worth it. #2 the worst thing that could happen is that it helps you...LESS than you thought it would. (Regardless, it’s gonna help in some way)
& why do I keep pushing myself to do these things that make me feel SO uncomfortable you might ask?
Because GROWTH is what I’m after.
(You can’t learn how to truly love yourself- if you never get out there & try...am I right?)
P.s. there’s now just 2 spots left in our SELF LOVE project Bootcamp ❤️ link is in the bio if you’re ready to growth with me.
Hey Guys! Late post from us, but we would like to thank each and every one of the 5k people who follow us! It’s crazy to think we made this page October 16th of last year (exactly 5 months ago). This page started as a school project, but we soon fell in love with this community and want to do more. We are very grateful for all of the relationships and friendships we have made through this page, and we cannot wait to share more skoolie builds to reach the next 5k!
After church this morning, we wanted to visit a natural pool, but because life happens we weren’t able to visit that area.
Instead we went to Reimers Ranch Park and went for a hike. It was a lovely family day.
This round of traveling we have made a huge effort to get into a rhythm. A schedule. Travel days are on Saturday, Sunday is church and intentional family time, then Monday through Friday we do regular life. School work meals shopping etc.
Lake Whitney, Texas was our first Thousand Trails campground. Nice quiet secluded sites with lots of amenities, hiking trails around the lake. Lesson learned- Don't come in at night, roads can be narrow, with trees and little light/nervous newbie backing Swoozie into our site...overall loved it! 🙂

When we come to Peace River, we spend a good bit of time in the river! A lot of people do. You can find all kinds of treasures in its water. So many different types of fossils are in the sand and dirt below. +
You can find fossils from sharks, horses, mastodons, mammoths, camels, llamas, saber tooth cats, jaguars, giant armadillos, gators, giant sloths and so much more! +
It’s incredible. It doesn’t take long before you start finding them as soon as you get to the river. Each time we go out the kids come back with so many treasures. This is just one reason we love this RV park so much! What is something cool to do at your favorite campground?

This is our spot for the next two weeks. Peaceful, quiet and surrounded by friends. Yesterday, I posted on my personal page @mommin_it_up about being an extroverted introvert and needing to recharge, in quiet and by myself.
So sitting by the river with a minute to think. I had some thoughts about this lifestyle and thought I’d offer some tips to anyone thinking of joining our community or ones who may be struggling with the same things.
In my post, I wrote about how people would never guess that I was actually an introvert. I share so much of myself online because I want to help people. I want to give whatever learning experience I have to others. When I post, I’m just talking to my friends. I don’t get nervous because I don’t think of things in numbers. I’m just chatting like I do with my sisters in a group chat.
When I’m in person with someone, I give my all. Because I want to be present and engaged and really get to know them. Large crowds where there is a lot of energy pulling from me because it’s interactive, exhaust me. I can give a presentation to 400 people but it’s not a back and forth exchange, with me to present for multiple people. It’s just giving whatever knowledge I have. So that isn’t AS draining as needing to fully engage with a smaller group of people.
With that said, it’s exhausting!
Extroverts refuel from being around people, they need it. Introverts refuel from time alone and with their own thoughts. Extroverted introverts like myself, love to be with people and give 100% of themselves when they are, but they need to recover.
So, if you are like me; recognize that and allow yourself time to refuel. Take care of yourself and don’t push yourself just because you have a fear of disappointing others or even a fear of missing out.
Enjoy this life, don’t do too much to where you want to quit because you are too depleted. Your tribe will understand, your tribe will still love you.
For my extroverted friends, keep extending the invitation to us weirdos but don’t take it personal if we can’t “people”. We love you and you matter to us. It’s not about you, it’s about listening to ourselves and our needs, so we CAN be there you.

I’m a wife, business owner, tiny home dweller & stay at home dog-mom that might look like she has all her ish together with her cute & trendy new blue light glasses-💁🏼♀️
But behind it all...
I’m just practicing my ballet moves from my new barre program (to no music) like a goon. (while usually trying to balance bulletproof coffee/matcha in my hand) 🤪🙊 #dorkstatus

I’m super thankful for my adventure partner. He’s brought so much stability, excitement, acceptance and love into my life and I feel really blessed to have such a great Valentine for life ❤️
One of my favorite things about this trailer is our @homereserve couches. We love watching documentaries and movies together as a family and we can do that just like a “regular” house in here. When I was designing the inside, I wanted it to feel like home. I wanted us to be able to move as much as we wanted to new places, but when we walked in, it felt comfortable and warm like a home should be. ☺️I can’t wait for the next family to be able to cuddle up and enjoy life just like this.
a view of the dolphin i don't show often but here she is! in all her glory and golden light.
to be honest, i had to clean up a bit and shuffle some things around to snap this photo of the light coming in. if you live on the road you know what i'm talkin' about. being in such a small space things get so cluttered so quickly! it's really a never ending battle. you know.. having to put things away before driving anywhere, trips to the gym for a shower, some days you run out of propane or water or both at the same time, becoming a local at the laundromat. sure things are not as convenient as living in a house, but life is a lot more beautiful this way and i would not trade it for the world.
