Quarantine can’t stop the Saguaro from enjoying #thirstythursday , they don’t even have to move!
Saguaros have adapted immensely to the dry climate of the Sonoran Desert. One of these
amazing adaptations is the ability to soak up as much as 200 gallons of water in a single
rainstorm for later use during the dry months. Features such as their spines, and the inner dips of their pleats, assist in moving water directly to their roots for quicker moisture uptake. Although they can store a large amount of moisture, it should be noted that we were all fooled by those old westerns; one cannot not in fact get water from a Saguaro if lost in the desert. The moisture stored inside is highly acidic and would not be pleasant (that’s if you got any out at all). For
those especially thirsty Thursdays (i.e. hot summer months) we suggest having at least one liter of water per person per hour. Stay safe and stay hydrated!

Free Community Breathwork for resilience and spirit fire. Though things may feel uncertain, many people are feeling the fire of their spirit coming forth. This session is to support the rise and elevation of body, mind and spirit, by surrendering through the breath and opening to the love and resilience of the heart. .
Sunday, April 12th at 4pm PDT (MST in AZ). Free and on Zoom. Email me JesSeacrest@gmail.com and I will send you the link. All participants and households welcome. .
Breathwork is a transformational breathing technique done while laying down. You will be expertly informed and guided through the process. This active breathing meditation is done with music for approximately 25 minutes with a 10-minute rest period at the end. It is a potent self-healing tool that leaves you feeling refreshed, open and grateful. The beauty of Breathwork is that you will get exactly what you need for self-healing, because you are intentionally working with and being held by the more expansive aspects of your true nature and internal wisdom. You are your own healer and medicine keeper. It is a clarifying and empowering experience. .
What you need to participate: a quiet space to lie down, and a blanket. To best support you, I need to see you in order to know how the breathing is going. So you get the most from the experience, during the breathing sequence please leave your camera on (mic off) and pointed at you. We are all getting a little more used to being on camera, but don’t worry, no one else will be watching you because everyone else will be in their own process.
Private Zoom session are also available. If you remain employed/business intact it’s $40 a session. If you are not in those circumstances, or are a grocery store worker, postal worker, delivery person, service worker, medical professional—out there in the public, sessions will be freely given. #breathwork#breathworkhealing#communitybreathwork#tucson#arizona#saguaro
Should I just become a desert account at this point? 😂 I’ve been in AZ for 3 weeks now and I’m loving every second. The sun is always shining, the birds are always chirping, and I’m able to go walk outside everyday. I’m a nature lover, but I feel like this time inside makes me appreciate nature that much more.

We need leaders who will say yes to this. So I’m clear, this is about calling in leaders with the gumption to stand up to popular narratives that are life-destroying guised as being in our best interest. It’s time for people willing to hang out on the fringe to stand up and be bold. #supergivers#leadership#equinewisdom#saguaro
When you’re in the desert, it’s mandatory to have an adventure hat with you at all times. Even if it’s too big for you. And flies off in the wind.
