All in all a huge dinner success and you guys it wasn’t even Mac n Cheese! We’re trying out @realhomechef and so far it’s a success! I’ve tried at least 5 of these meal services out because meal planning and me are not friends. I just don’t have the time to think about what we are going to eat. This is not just a clock. It's a clock, yes, but it represents a different time, a different way of doing things in our industry. It's not very valuable on the market, but it's priceless, and timeless, to me. Because of the men and women who used it, and because of the sports arena that was it's home for many decades. Because of what it represents. Time. A specific time. Time that you had to pay attention to. Too little time and you would not see what you needed to see because of the darkness. To much time and you wouldn't see what you needed to see because of the light. Time that needed to be measured, and cared for. What does this have to do with East Texas Productions? Everything. Time is one thing that can never be recovered. It can't be turned back. And there is a limited supply for all of us. We have saved clients tens of thousands of dollars worth of time by eliminating repetitive tasks, like training, recruitment, and safety. Take it from me: enter your email, join the challenges, watch the webinars, attend the LIVES... BUT before you splurge on a program claiming to help you 10x your business or trade your yoga pants for a business suit - talk it out with someone.
I love courses and programs. I completely support online education. And saving time by taking advice from someone who has gone before us is the smart thing to do.
Here’s the thing. I’ve gone before you. If my experience can save you time, that’s a win for me.
If you’re not ready, your money could be better spent on affordable 1:1 coaching in strategy and sales, professional copywriting, design, virtual assistants, advertising budgets and helpful software.
A lot of these programs expect you to spend this extra anyway, why not make a plan before whipping out your card to sign up to go at it alone.
I’m here and it doesn’t cost anything to ask me to talk it out with you. I will give you my honest, heartfelt opinion on whichever program you are looking at.

What a crazy past two and a bit weeks! Sad that my holiday exploring the east coast is over but, happy to be back home.
First thing first, food prep! Having not being able to prepare and prep meals while away, it is easy to take such an important part of staying healthy and on track for granted. I cannot stress enough how beneficial meal prep is for keeping your health on track, especially when you are striving to kick your health goals.
1. Saves time and money. Planning your meals for the week saves you time, plus helps structure your shopping list thus saving money (your not going to buy things you dont need).
2. Helps control your portion sizes which can help you to maintain or lose weight.
3. Reduces stress. You wont need to worry about rushing around trying to find something to eat plus reduces the urge to grabb unhealthy foods whilst out when you are unprepared.
4. Nutrition. Your meals are highly more likely to be nutritionally balanced as you have spent the time to think about the healthier options leading to a balanced diet.
🍓Choose one day a week that suits you best to sit down and plan your meals for the week and develop your shopping list. Choose a couple of recipes that makes 3-4 serves which can be eaten as both a lunch and dinner option. 🍍Start small. If the thought of planning meals for the entire week sounds too hard or too time consuming, start by prepping for the first 2 or 3 days of the week until you get the hang of it.
🍋 Cook meals that take the longest first. For example meals with proteins generally take longer to cook (curries, stews, stirfries etc) adding your veggies towards the end. Leave the easy meals til last! 🍉 Multitask like a pro! While your longer meals are cooking, wash your fruit and veg, make some grab to go snacks (im talking celery/carrot sticks with hummus or chopped apple & nut butter).
🍇 Keep record! Save your menus, recipes and shopping lists somewhere safe so they can be used again. This will save heaps of time in the future especially if you have really enjoyed a particular weeks worth of food.
