Oh, Christmas Tree 🌲❤️ Yay! The tree is up! What an amazing, jam packed Christmas weekend we had. If you followed along on my stories (I know a lot of you did ☺️), you’ll know that we put our Christmas Tree up on Saturday and helped put my parents Christmas Tree up on Sunday ✨. .
Both days were filled with lots of Mulled Wine (non alcoholic* ...I feel like I have to say it every time just in case someone thinks I’ve been drinking while pregnant or something 🤣), hot chocolate 🍫☕️, amazing food cooked by my Dad and lots of love and laughs ❤️!
I’ve had a lot of questions about our Christmas Tree, too! It’s by the wonderful @balsamhill 🌲. We bought it last year for our first Christmas in the Maple as an investment piece because we knew it would last us! And it’s beautiful! ❤️ I’ll try and find the details and add it to my stories!
Swipe to see the process of putting up the tree incase you missed it on stories ☺️🌲!
Christmas prep! I really should have started this last Christmas. I have many ideas and things to make and about 5 sweater to knit. This year will be a nearly 100% handmade Christmas. But what is Christmas time without a little madness and losing of one’s mind?
We are all still feeling a little sad that this weekends fair had to be cancelled because of the weather, so I’ve decided to give 10% discount online, on all items featured in the seasonal department, simply use the code NOEL10 (expires Monday 18th )
Happy shopping 🌲
Each Friday from now up until Christmas I will be doing Fiver Friday where both A5 & A4 sizes are just £5! 🙌🏻
This weeks print is the lovely ‘It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas’ design. Don’t miss out! 🛒🎄
Morning all! Getting on with some orders today . The copper star gift sack is proving to be the most popular for the third Christmas in a row. The option isn’t on the Etsy shop but I can also do these in the brown sacks . Hope everyone has a speedy Friday , roll on the weekend 🖤
Christmas wreaths. Today I am loading up to do the set up @withamhallschool for @withamhallwinterfair which is tomorrow Saturday 10am-4pm with 75 fabulous stalls. I will be bringing this display wreath with me to show you how you can decorate a rope wreath for a modern rustic Christmas using things all from the garden. It got so much love last weekend and on my stories at the moment is a guide to what you can forage from the garden and in my stories highlights I have shown exactly how I made this wreath. Dried flowers do need to be kept inside but you could style the wreath with holly, ivy, eucalyptus etc which are all plants that are fine on outside wreaths for the festive period, then think about a restyle as we go through the seasons. Have a lovely day. X
I’ve had such a lovely reaction to these festive rainbows and geo planters on our stories that they are now live on our website!
I had a play around with different holiday colours for the rainbow, but this simple, scandi white, silver and gold combo was definitely a winner!
I will add these to my old Crimbo decorations from the attic and super excited to buy a few more from some small business I’ve discovered on here!! Then go crazy christmasifing the flat with Autumn in tow, I think she’s at an age now to really get into the Christmas spirit!! Or maybe she will get bored of decorating within minuets and I’ll happily bounce round our home belting out Mariah alone!
Really hope you love them lovelies!! 😃Dx

Last Christmas. I actually did not take that many photos of my @fabulousplaces Christmas stand last year. I think I was quite overwhelmed at being involved in such an amazing event and had a mixture of great excitement and nerves. I am now in the finally week before all the Christmas events start and today marks the end of a mammoth 7 weeks of making and tying knots pretty much full time (and a bit more) and it’s now all about set prep and pulling everything together. There is always so much to do before an event and I will aim to post on my stories what I am doing each day in the run up to Saturday (if you are interested in seeing event prep) Just keeping everything crossed now that all goes well. Hope you have a good week. Emma x
